Wow it took a real genius to decipher that huh? :)Dudes just got a twist in his nads towards me for some reason .

I have reread all your post on our issue. I don't think you meant any ill will toward Henderson. It was after an ill timed joke as you described done in a cheeky way that set me off. I don't have a beef you and came too strong after you. I just can't stand people to get on here and talk about these KIDS like the are pawns in a video game. I understand that you weren't doing that exactly, but less than a day after a kid that thought he was a VFL is too soon to make jokes.

I agree I have no problem with it happening. I just don't blame kids for changing their minds when it doesn't benefit us.

Most people have no problem with a kid changing their mind. They do have a problem with a kid telling a coach to his face he is a Vol and then all of a sudden commit to another school and stop taking phone calls from the coach. Of all the recruits we have told to look elsewhere, I can't recall one that bashed the coaching staff. That should tell you they are probably up front with the parents and kids.

I think Henderson will be a steal for some team.

I was thinking it was going to be our team. Oh well...Khalid, we hardly knew ye. We need fast guys who can play outside. I don't see letting Henderson get away.

Best of luck to him. He is a great athlete. I just hope he goes to a team that we don't play.

Khalid has potential, but this tells me that we're in good for other guys. I'd be happy with Brown or Perkins at LB.

His film never jumped out at me. But I have a feeling some other team got lucky. Here is to hoping we get brown. Ppl wonder how we were gonna make room for incoming kids. I think this is answering the question

Brown reminds me of Heath Shuler physically coming out of HS. If he hadn't been able to throw, he would have been a great college LB or S.

Really hate seeing things like that.

Me too. It's the side of the business that's not pleasant. Unfortunately, it is a business, and Dooley's more than likely coaching for his job next year. Understandable in those circumstances.

I hope whoever we land is worth it.

....not that it means jack squat, but I liked what I saw from this guy.

Definitely unfortunate. Here we have people getting all excited about his decommitnent. In my opinion, when you give someone your word, it should stick. In this case, CDD accepted his commitment and is pulling it at the last minute. Hopefully he lands at a good school who doesn't play UTK on Saturdays.

Eh, the prospects can do it. The coaches have every right to do the same. He still has a month to find the right place for him - not like Damien Thigpen where Kiffin and crew "encouraged" him to look elsewhere three or four days before signing day.
