Dude's legit. I'd be stoked with Kimbrow and Cross as our 2 backs.

Cross saw his first action of the season in North Hall's 4th game, with 3 carries for 18 yards and a TD. He rushed for 568 yards and 15 TDs on just 60 carries (9.5 YPC) in the next 6 games. Cross also had 9 receptions for 175 yards and he excelled at linebacker, racking up 77 tackles in just 6.5 games.

As a sophomore at Flowery Branch, Cross ran for 1,407 yards and 17 TDs.

He claims a Tennessee offer and says they are showing a lot of interest in him. He is visiting Tennessee next weekend and said that he plans on committing to them then."

If we can get Cross this year and Thornton next year that would be awesome. Both are from the same region but two different types of backs and Thorntons interest in Tennessee is high same school as Tauren Poole and he looks up to Tauren like a brother.

Shows a lot of improvement between sophomore and junior years, even after coming back from injury. I'm sure it also helped that he switched high schools and went from a spread to a power running game.

Reminds me of Tampa Bay's Blount when he was at Oregon. Big slashing back not necessarily a true bruiser but he's a true power slashing back. He has great vision and moves for a big back. Has nice speed for such a big RB. I'd like to pair him with Kimbrow. Dooley and staff are really bringing in some good football players.
