We don't have room to play this year. If we start taking 3* and 4* RBs now, that means we don't have a hope for any of the 5* RBs everyone here has been wanting. If we are going to offer guys like that now I say take the instate kids. JMO
Cross is better then every instate RB not named Brian Kimbrow.
I'm just not that big on getting Kimbrow. I know a lot of people are having man love for the guy, but his film is average at best. I guess I need to see him play live to appreciate him.
Someone refresh my memory on the kid we got some years back from Louisiana that was supposed to be the all world speed guy that we always wanted at Tennessee; He was about 5'9" 165 pounds with world class speed. He was so great I don't remember his name.

I'm thinking high 3*, low-to-mid 4* if he fully comes back from the injury.
Are we sure we're not on him as a LB? I'd like to see a defensive highlight package to compare, but it sure looks like he's a LB playing RB. I'll defer to the coaching staff for player evaluation, but he just doesn't jump off the film to me? I think he looks way better in space with the screen plays.
Now for the million dollar question - with limited scholarship numbers next season do we take him now if he wants to pull the trigger? I'm as anxious to get the first 2012 committ as the next guy, but with VFL being a big selling point and coaches fully committed to our verbals I want to be sure we're getting the most elite talent we possibly can.
I'm happy that we lead for Cross, but is he better or worse than Kenno Loyal who is also said to be a vol lean
