Boy is a hoss! He's also the mature solid person that Dooley says he wants to recruit. It's nice to see that our staff is earning respect from the families that reared this type kid. Brings pride back to being a VOL! I'll admit for a stretch there I was nervous to read the news each morning when I would wake up. Not so much now a days.

Now if we can end the season with at least 8 wins....GBO!

Watching the bama/UF game should have shown us all that we don't have very good RBs. UF plugged holes just like they did vs us, the difference, Trent & Lacy did not go down on 1st contact, they moved piles and had enough vision to spot cut back lanes.

I would not be surprised to see Cross or Hill get significant playing time thru their Freshmen campaigns.

Agreed. I love Poole, but he goes down on first contact a lot. It would be nice to have a big back that can break some tackles and keep churning his legs...

I've never seen a RB with Poole's stature go down with arm tackles like he does. His inconsistency is a whole other issue.

Richardson yes. Lacey didn't look any better than UT's guys to me. He got better blocking and Bama was more committed to the run.

I usually give the benefit of the doubt but UT's RB recruiting mystifies me. If there is a position where recruiting svc rankings mean very much... RB is it.

I think he's a solid prospect for us, but wow, his lack of breakaway speed really stood out in that video. Maybe it doesn't help that he's playing both sides of the ball?
