'12 GA RB Imani Cross (Nebraska Commit)

IC avg's 8.9 YPC and scores a TD / 8th carry for the season---those are impressive stats considering that North Hall is an avg, if not sub-par team (*see below Maxpreps latest article)

Those interested in ratings---Rivals (Rated 5.7 of 6.0) and Scout (3*) on the other hand ESPN (Rated 79) and The Ringer (Rated 5.8 of 6.0).

Maxpreps:
Imani Cross
Pos: RB
Ht/Wt: 6'1"/220
Class: Sr.
School: North Hall Trojans
Season: Varsity 11-12
Sport: Football
Overall: 4-6-0
League: 3-2-0
National Rank: 5824
GA State Rank: 224

Awards & Recruiting: Tom Lemming rates Cross #11 in his Top 25
Football Recruiting: Top 25 Big Backs - MaxPreps

College Status: Imani Cross has Committed to Tennessee

Recruiting Notes:
Tom Lemming; Mani shows unusual power, runs hard between the tackles, and has proven to be very difficult to bring down. He gets tough inside yards and like Kenno Loyal, he can run, catch, and block. He may be best suited to play the FB position and he's also a standout LB on defense where he also shows Division I skills. A muscular, hard working, two-way player with a great attitude and he's a leader both on and off the field.

He's certainly not a speed back but he didn't have much trouble out running most of those defenders. And if someone did get in his way he just lowered his shoulder and ran over them. Can't wait for this kid to get on campus, he's already grown man size. Beast.

Just watched his film, my observation: Cross is a big, powerful, bruising, north/south type of running back. His speed isn't as bad as I thought but he is by no means a homeriem threat, looks like a 4.6 runner. If I had to compare him to someone off the top of my head I would compare him to LeGarrett Blount or maybe a Jabari Davis type.

Do you guys think Marcus Lattimore is fast? rhetorical...

he's a 4.55+ forty guy all day, yet he breaks enough tackles to rip off long runs almost every game.

Hell, Arian Foster Definitely is not fast. But he has a long run from scrimmage every single game in the NFL
