Well, I will give you that if anybody knows what irrelevant is, it is a MSU fan, you have never been anything but irrelevant.

This is the prevailing thought from around the SEC. He wasn't a terrible hire at the time, with the NCAA snooping around, and the program just needing a caretaker for a few years. He has recruited well(this meltdown notwithstanding).

The program as a whole is in a better place to make the "right" hire in the next few seasons, and the pieces will be in place for the next coach to have immediate success with little/no rebuilding(Sonny Dykes at La Tech is a fair example), a luxury Dooley didn't have when he arrived at UT.

Do you mean like that beatdown that you put Dooley's old team this year. A 26 to 20 win over La Tech really shoes the relevance of MSU.

If so much has changed since 2007 then explain to me why the only two recruits that MSU has beat Tennessee out for this year are Autry and Redmond? Redmond will likely decommit soon leaving you only with Autry. Does not sound like much has changed to me.
