would have added very good depth but it doesnt bother me that we didnt get a lying gamecock sucker that gave the coachs his word( was say many times by reliable posters)

We're fine with Sentimore and crew but I'm greedy. Would've liked to add Autry to the mix. I don't know why posters get so pissed with these young men. It's not like Miss. State is a bad defense to play for. I can see why he picked them.

The gameplan for Autry in this game was never to really go after the qb. It was to contain and force him to stay in the pocket and beat us with his arm. Can't take much from this game about him, since our approach was so very different than it will be when UT comes to town.

Someone asked about Richie Brown as well...it is being reported that he is going to redshirt for us. He was/is exactly as advertised, but we just have too much older quality depth at linebacker right now. Has been utmost impressive in workouts though and picked up the defensive scheme and assignments the quickest of anyone we have had under Mullen. Ultimately, Mullen told him what to expect(PT wise) and let him make the personal decision whether to redshirt or not, and it appears that he made his choice. IMO we could easily see him taking Cam Lawrence's spot next year as captain of the D...

IMO, this is the type of gameplan that our defense needs to have for Florida...contain on the edges, so that the RBs can't get to the outside and make Driskel stay in the pocket and beat us throwing the ball. If we can do that, then I think we can stuff the run on the inside with DMac and our ILBs...take our chances and make Driskel drive the ball down the length of the field throwing it. He's young...he will makes some mistakes over the course of the game in the raucous environment that Neyland will provide Saturday evening.

All I have to say is mad props to Dooley for keeping our program clean as can be. We could have easily paid this kid "under the table" and I am sure he requested that from our coaches/boosters at some point.

I read that another SEC program offered $60k to Autry or Redmond. Can't wait to find out who it was (allegedly), although my money's on Auburn.
