'12 JUCO DE Denico Autry (MSU signee)

If it was alpabetical would vandy be first on 4* rb wes brown.

Because interest is the first priority in the sorting. Second is Alphabetical. If you notice, Vandy is High Interest and everyone else in Medium interest. If he was considered by scout to have high interest in Alabama and Vandy for instance, Alabama would be listed before Vandy. The medium interests are all in A-Z order...

major fail - my friend who was an Alabama fan used to do the same thing and basically masturbate to recruiting sites... then I called his hillbilly ass out on it that it was in alphabetical order.

That's hilarious! I hate being that guy, but I like to think our fanbase is somewhat more levelheaded than some of the other fanbases filled with a parade of superfans.

I mean really...how could you not notice that?

The bottom line is that we still lead for both Autry and Jacobs (who remains committed to us). Florida may be gaining a bit, but they entered the process for them very late and I would be very surprised if Dooley in the staff were to be unable to keep both of them in the fold.

I continue to expect both of them to sign with the Vols, hopefully in December because they will make it to EE status. If given an extra month to recruit them, Florida could possibly gain more ground.

Autry reports that the game day atmosphere was heightened due to the Bulldogs' win over in state rival Ole Miss.

"I have been up there for some games before, but it was a rivalry game," said Denico. "Everybody was a lot more hyped up.

"It was a great game and I enjoyed watching the defensive line play."

A repeat visitor to Starkville, Autry reports that the experience was a positive one.

"I can't say I really learned anything new," said Denico. "I have been up there before, so I have seen everything.

"I have to say the visit helped Mississippi State a little bit," said Autry. "I have some other visits set up, but I am not sure if I am going to take them.

"I talked to USC and they want me to come out there and visit them and see how they do things out there.

"I don't know if I am going to take any other visits though.

"I am going to make my decision somewhere between December 3rd and December 15th."

Sounds like great comments for us. Does DD have an inhome left with him for this week? That should seal it if he does.

Autry hung out with Pernell McPhee all weekend. He clicked instantly with McPhee because he was in a similar situation. McPhee was a highly recruited JUCO All-American DE at a MS Jr. College being from another state just like Autry. Autry has been to MSU several times and he knows he will have a better DL surrounding cast at MSU with All-SEC DTs Fletcher Cox and Josh Boyd to take all the double teams. How is that UT Bound from the sounds of it? When was the last time he came to UT? He will be coming back next weekend with UT commit D. Jacobs. That is pretty much why he's considering UT, because of Jacobs. Jacobs would be a backup at MSU; he would start at UT and that's where UT has the advantage with Autry. Just passing info so don't shoot the messenger.

Gonna disagree...state is in a worse spot than tennessee. Pretty soon Mullen will leave for an easier job. Next year will be another rough season for state losing a lot of starters.

He lose 4 on offense(TE, 2 OL, RB) We had a very young team this year. Our offense and special teams were horrible, they put our defense in bad situations. We "should be" better on both sides of the ball next year.

Irrelevant because you have to play Bama, LSU, Arky, Auburn, and aTm.. all of which will beat you. Additionally you may have to play us which likely wont work-out in your favor either so right there is 5-6 guaranteed loses.

Mo Jacobs Smith Sentimore and/or McCullers is a pretty good DL rotation. He will play in a respectable line-up if he comes here.
