I know I shouldn't have got my hopes up. Hopefully, CDD will hire another great WR coach. And hire L. Porter. Maybe it won't affect Patterson as much as it seems it would. Fingers crossed anyway! GBO!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I've never heard Patterson mention Baggett. Sure, his position coach is a strong point of interest, but it's not like he has said Baggett was the business for him.

On the other hand, other players have mentioned Sirmon as being their home slice, so that would be scary... but we don't have to worry about that.... until the next rumor which should hit in about 8 minutes.

Hinshaw may be taking over coach at WR

Smart move IMO, Hinshaw is a good recruiter, has connections in Fl., coached WRs before.

I hope this is how it unfolds:

OC/QB: Chaney
RB: Porter
WR: Hinshaw
OL: Not Hiestand, Lol.
TE: Dooley/Russell

I agree. This is a good move. Logically, Chaney should be QBs now. If CHH is going to visit O'Connor, then I don't see his removal in the works, or we don't care much about getting O'Connor. I'll go with the former.

I think Hiestand could be let go after NSD. I hope it's before, I just don't see how you can bring him back.

Had this discussion the other night. In all that you read last jan did the staff tell GWright or Jernigan that smith was going to let go?

No I don't think so. Smith was recruiting both of them all the way up to NSD I believe.
