Listed, guess who, as his leader after attending Big Cat Weekend.

I really, really hate Auburn.

I am really starting to hate Auburn. I actually used to not mind them as much, but that has changed.

After interacting with their fans in Knoxville in 2009, I developed a deep hatred for them. I didn't mind them as much last year because I like Cam Newton, but now that Newton is gone for greener pastures (well, maybe the Panthers can pay him more), the hatred has returned.

I only liked them because they also hate Bama. You know, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. But that has since worn off. I wish they would come back to Earth. Cam is gone, and they won't be near the team they were without him to make up for the shortcomings.

I wouldn't worry too much about this. He has two years to show what he can do in the NFL...playing those two years in AU's offense wouldn't be the best way to go about getting ready for the NFL if you have the option of either UGA or UT's offenses.

UGA just put 3 WRs in the draft, one in the Top 5. I don't anticipate Hunter, or even Rogers, having much trouble at least getting drafted when the time comes. AU had one WR in the draft, who was undrafted. A JUCO like CP would be doing himself a disservice to go to AU if he plans to get to the NFL.

There is the QB situations too. He comes in next year, at UGA he would have a RS Jr Aaron Murray as QB...at UT he has true Jr Tyler Bray...at AU he has either a soph Moseley or true freshman Frazier. Advantage UGA/UT. The depth at both our schools isn't exactly ridiculous either, AU can't offer more PT than UGA with our thin corp and CP would likely put himself right in with, if not in front of, both UT guys (not a knock on them, Patterson is the real deal), so he would see the field here too.

He is coming off the visit and basking in the glory of it. When that wears off in a few days, everyone will be even or UGA/UT will be back out front.

High quality post. However I do think that recruits don't always use as much logic as is on display with this line of thinking.

Luckily for everyone else Auburn still has to play football in 2011, which I expect them to do badly. I think a lot of Auburn's luster will start to fade when they get plowed by legitimate opponents in 2011.

I know they've had recent success in in recruiting, but they recruited a lot of high attitude guys with rock star mentalities and didn't get another Cam Newton while they were at it. That doesn't strike me as a recipe for success.

Auburns advantage is they flash the cash which get the recruits excited till Auburn lands an investigation by the NCAA!

Seriously....there is along ways till NSD and I am sure Auburn will continue to find itself in hot water.....HOPEFULLY! Is that wrong that I want them to get hammered?
