Oh no... the spotted ape curse...
Whatever happened to Thompkins anyway? Will we see him against Cinci this year?
Kenbrell Thompkins, WR, Cincinnati: The junior-college transfer is already a team leader, and coach Butch Jones says Thompkins can be the Bearcats' No. 1 receiver in 2011.
"It's been kind of good. I haven't really been paying attention to it, just been relaxing and taking it a day at a time and I don't try and let anything get in my way," Patterson said.
"It's just the coaches and the coaching staff. They have a good coaching staff. It seems like they care about you and stuff and are willing to talk to you and be real,"
Patterson said.
"I got a little better. I was trying to work on blocking more. It's natural and once I get my hands on you it's hard to get off of me," Patterson said.
"If I have time, I'll stop by a couple of places. I'd like to check out Auburn and maybe South Carolina. I'd really just like to see all the SEC schools," Patterson said.
-VQ Poster.Word down here is Vols vs Gamecocks battle. However, Tennesse holds edge. USCe can't take but so many receivers this year and the state is loaded with WR's. (wr Shaq Roland out of Lexington has USCe out in front by a large margin). Also, they placed WR Bell in Juco and want him back. If they go after Patterson hard, it could become very interesting, but as of right now, a coach from Rock Hill said the Vols are team to beat. Worley helps out as well.
How??? Where's this crowd?
