we will definitely see him against Cincy this year. it appears he has emerged as their #1 WR this spring.

ESPN named him one of the players in the Big East most likely to break out this year:

Kenbrell Thompkins, WR, Cincinnati: The junior-college transfer is already a team leader, and coach Butch Jones says Thompkins can be the Bearcats' No. 1 receiver in 2011.

"It's been kind of good. I haven't really been paying attention to it, just been relaxing and taking it a day at a time and I don't try and let anything get in my way," Patterson said.

"It's just the coaches and the coaching staff. They have a good coaching staff. It seems like they care about you and stuff and are willing to talk to you and be real,"
Patterson said.

"I got a little better. I was trying to work on blocking more. It's natural and once I get my hands on you it's hard to get off of me," Patterson said.

"If I have time, I'll stop by a couple of places. I'd like to check out Auburn and maybe South Carolina. I'd really just like to see all the SEC schools," Patterson said.

Patterson also talks with Coach Hinshaw on a regular basis. Still is on track to graduate in December and be an EE.

This is my #1 WR for this year. Just what everyone has been saying about him, plus, he will likely be a 5* JC player.

Word down here is Vols vs Gamecocks battle. However, Tennesse holds edge. USCe can't take but so many receivers this year and the state is loaded with WR's. (wr Shaq Roland out of Lexington has USCe out in front by a large margin). Also, they placed WR Bell in Juco and want him back. If they go after Patterson hard, it could become very interesting, but as of right now, a coach from Rock Hill said the Vols are team to beat. Worley helps out as well.

It would be a very crowded receiving corps, but I would not mind having Cordarrelle on Rocky Top. He is a good football player.

it won't be crowded for Patterson cuz he is an elite talent, but next year it will start to get crowded in the middle of that pack for guys like White Lightning, Milton, Arnett, Bowles, and Dallas. all those guys would be behind DaRick, Hunter, and Patterson. that would be some ridiculous depth.
