I can't imagine the way that Chaney throws the ball around that he should worry about touches. Bray will throw it to the open guy. Just be open. This guy will fit in here pretty well.

Patterson contacted the staff last night to check on Hunter. That should tell you all you need to know about where he's heading...

That's really good news. Patterson became that much more important because there is no telling if Hunter will come back the same as he was after rehab.

Hutchinson won 90-7 yesterday. :eek:lol: 90 points is a new NCAA JUCO record.

Patterson had 3 catches for 97 yards, and all three were TDs. Also had one rush for 29 yards.

I got a kick out of Bullard knocking dude down 3 times. I would guess with all the smack talk going on he wanted to show him what's up. I really didn't mind that penality.

By the time Patterson shows up on campus, the line problems will be solved, one way or another. The passing game is a year ahead of where I thought they would be, I thought they'd be slingin' the ball around like this next year. But this team couldn't do anything much offensively against UAB, so I have to believe that they'll make the same kind of progress by December of 2011.

What they've done with a wafer-thin receiving core bodes well for what's going to happen with this team when there's more players around and it's impossible to commit 8 to the box (or make the highlights on ESPN as speedy Tennessee receivers are blowing past single coverage).

Anybody think Croom could be overhyped like Milton? I don't know, just wondering if anybody has seen him play a lot, or knows more about him..Patterson seems like a can't miss to me though.

idk why, but i keep thinking croom is somebody who will come on their junior year. i dont seem him being an immediate impact. hell i hope im wrong
