Darin Hinshaw and Charlie Baggett are headed to the Air Force Academy to watch Cordarelle Patterson when Hutchinson Community College takes on Air Force Prep. The game is set for Friday at 1 p.m. and it's a smart move by Tennessee because Hutchinson plays only on Saturdays from here on out and it's a safe bet Tennessee's one of a few schools, if any, taking advantage of seeing Patterson Friday at an away game.
All Im saying is this guy could let rodgers become gerald jones plus he will let us go 4 or 5 wide with tons of talent on the field. We should create huge matchup problems.
Rogers would never be a G Jones type WR. He is a much better playmaker or has the ability to be.
Patterson IMO is a huge need because there really isnt anyone else who is a threat besides the dynamic duo. He would be a major threat in the slot and clearing out zones for the big boys or working the middle getting those tough catches.
Hopefully Arnett can grow into that role as well but hes still got some work to do.
I couldnt imagine having a legit TE to go with Patterson / Rogers / Hunter. Rivera is ok but not a real threat, yet.
I think Patterson will defenitely be our number 3 reciever but when Hunter Rodgers and Patterson are on the field Rodgers will be in the slot running those middle routes mainly because of his strength and height compared to that of Pattersons
Hutchinson C.C. lost 40-7 last night to Air Force Prep Academy, Patterson had 9 Catches 115 Yards & 1 TD
:lolabove::dance2::lolabove: im thinking that if hunter and rogers play ike they did last saturday most of this season and someone else steps up in the slot, then with patterson we would have a top 5 offence imo :loco:
