Isn't that something that should have been determined much sooner? Looking at a transcript should have answered that unless he is currently failing classes which must be the case.

I am sure Patterson is still a take and i still believe we get him. I think they just wanted a capable receiver who could step in during the spring and get a head start to add depth and knowledge of the system when the fall rolls around.

For those wondering about how many WR's we are taking, realize that we do throw a lot with Bray at the helm and spread it out and as of right now one of our WR's rotating in is Anthony Anderson and another is Matt Milton. Neither will see the field again after this year so we are not near as deep at WR as some on here seem to think.

Looking at the roster right now, after the bowl game going into the spring we will have Hunter coming off injury, Da'Rick, Zach Rogers, Vincent Dallas and DeAnthony Arnett and that is it. We need WR's and we need them here quickly!

I can understand where the staff is coming from. The longer he is on the market, the harder it will become to wrap him up. Teams like UGA and the Barn will have another shot at him.

I think the staff is more worried about him not beiing an EE than him not being a Vol. I will just continue to refer to reliable posters on here who say he is all Vol. I will not allow myself to start stressing right now about recruits. I mean we did hear that we needed to worry about Jacobs to A&M, O'Brien to Michigan, McNeil to Okla State, Santos to A&M, etc. Be cool my friends. We will get this guy. Let's all show up and show out this weekend for the guy while he is here.

Milton and Neal also but your point was still made. Very thin.

Sorry for leaving Neal out. I just still am trying to figure out where he exactly fits in position wise. And I do not count Milton because he is a non-factor.

I don't think that is the staff's main concern. I think they really want a WR that can come in after December. They aren't that concerned with hanging on to his commitment.
Edit-never mind, team deke took care of it.

They're correct. Seems like we've had that discussion before.

We're bringing in speed. It'll change soon.

The way it was worded it sounds like a grade issue preventing him for being here in December. Not indecision about UT. Did I miss something?

That's a pretty big leap

Things are exactly like they were before...we lead...UGA is a real threat
