Could not be more pleased with the WR recruiting that Dooley has done. If we wrap up this guy, Crooms, et al we will be stocked with WR talent. It will be as good as any in the country

I'm only saying there's a chance, that's it. Many UGA guys don't feel so good about Patterson but you never know once you get him in your campus. If he visits, yes, there's a chance.

Da'Rick was a huge loss for us, no doubt. Marlon never committed to UT, Da'Rick was committed to us for 8 months. He was our headline recruit and messed up our WR recruiting that year. CMR and staff learned a valuable lesson after Da'Rick's recruitment.

But, it happens in recuriting all the time and everything works out in the end. If we had Da'Rick, we probably would not have gotten Malcom Mitchell. That kid will be a star. I'm sure you guys remember him.

But, it happens in recuriting all the time and everything works out in the end.

The same as having Simms committed and then losing him later on in the 98 class. Totally butchered our Qb recruiting and entire class that year.

Patterson was effectively shut down by No. 3 Butler as Hutchinson lost 40-21 on Sunday. Though held to 24 yards rushing and 35 yards receiving, he still managed to score a TD against a defense that had allowed only five TDs during the regular season.

Patterson's total stats in his two-year career at Hutchinson (22 games):

* receiving: 103 catches for 1712 yards (16.6 YPC) and 21 TDs
* rushing: 35 carries for 394 yards (11.3 YPC) and 6 TDs
* kick returns: 18 for 823 yards (45.7 YPR) and 5 TDs
* punt returns: 6 for 53 yards
* total all-purpose yards: 2982 (on 162 touches)
* total scoring: 32 TDs, or 1 TD every 5 touches
