Is patterson such a big recruit to the staff so they can add some motivation(or behavoir modification) to rodgers? There is so much smoke out there that it couldn't hurt to have add some competition to push DR into maturity.

most of this attitude stuff about dr came after tyler was hurt. dr wanted worley to get his shot from the get go and he was vocal about it. imagine going to work all week and busting your tail and your employer doesnt give you a check. thats how some of the wr's felt about simms.imagine working your butt off to get open and knowing you have about an 80% chance the ball gets thrown in the dirt 10 yards behind you. dr is not the only wr that felt that way, he was just vocal about it. he probably couldve handled it better in hindsight.

Sounds about right. skeeter do you have any info if Worley and Patterson still keep in touch?

Sounds like its about time to get off DR's nuts.

Yes, he is talented. But he is also all about DR. Everyone around the team is saying it. He wants what makes HIM look good. He is a very immature kid. He needs to grow up, and fast.

...Or maybe he realizes that when we get him the ball good things happen. Kids a stud.

College athletes aren't paid in stats. But rather tuition lodging, meals, etc. DR is the crowning example of what was wrong with our team this year. INDIVIDUALS!

Who the freak liked this? UGAinsider!!! I know you've been here.:bash:

Nope, was not me. I follow what Skeeter posts because I think he provides good info. I hope he is right because I have not heard a whole lot of good things. I should have some good info after he visits. But we all know things change all the time with recruits.

DR is the crowning example of what was wrong? Silly me..I thought he was one of the few things we had goin right for us.

Yes, silly you. He is the shining beacon for our dissention and it is painfully obvious. I guess I am wrong for putting the team above DR stats. Silly me. I don't care what someone does on the field if they alienate the rest of the team off the field. There is a reason why guys like TO and Randy Moss bounced from team to team and never played on a championship team.

Excuse the guy for wanting the better QB to play. Better yet, keep your mouth shut unless your at practices and in the locker room. Take DR off our team and see how that turns out. He was the only person capable of moving the ball on the entire team for half the season while facing double and triple coverage. Excuse the guy for being frustrated.

My team of DR's will bet your team of Austin Johnson's 10/10 times. Talent wins.

DR is the only reason we beat Vandy. So I'd say DR having good stats=Tennessee winning

HAHAHAHA... Talent wins huh? So are you saying that UK is more talented than us? Talent doesn't always win, sure it wins more than the average Austin Johnson's of the world.. but it takes a COHESIVE SQUAD to win the big games! You think we are cohesive with a team full of divas who are all about themselves?

Yeah your right make excuses for the guy being a cancer to the team. Excuse him for being all about himself and ignoring the coaches plans for the betterment of his stats. Which by the way.. how did the whole Worley experiment go? He did not do much better than Simms. So in turn, DR was wrong about his assumptions.

Dissention is horrible road to go down, maybe he will be better next year when Hunter is back.. I truly hope so, because throwing team mates and arguing with fans on Twitter is no way to conduct yourself when wearing the Orange.

This team needs vocal leaders, not vocal cancers and the people who turn their eyes away from the issue because he is leading the SEC in receiving.

What's going on with Da'Rick. I read on another site that Rogers got into it with a couple of players after the UK game due to a "lack of effort." Nothing physical, just a shouting match with other players. Dooley had to step in and break it up.

I'm not trying to stir the pot. Just asking if somebody knows if there is any truth to this.

Talent is more important than chemistry. Ever played a team sport? Got news for you: not everyone gets along, people always think they need more touches, more catches, more innings, more shots. There are always cliques-usually by class and/or ability.

Congratulations on attempting to use the Kentucky game as anything other than an example that this team quit on its coach.

A sophopmore lead the SEC in receiving, with your QB out for 5 weeks, and the other playmaker out for the year. Let's all bash him and blame him for what's wrong with the offense...

This is the biggest problem with Message Boards. They pick fights and everybody has to choose the "extreme" that they will side with. Here are some examples:

- Da'Rick is an amazing player and asset to the team OR he's a cancer to the team and should be kicked off.
- Dooley is doing great and deserves a few more years OR he's got to go now.
- Que Watson has the potential to be an All-SEC RB OR he's a total waste of a scholly.

In each of these cases, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. If you step back and look at the situation, you'll come to that conclusion. But MB's make you side with one of the extremes. If you start to defend one side, everyone jumps on you like you're an extremist.
