I don't think there will be 2 I personally think cross is gone and this is his replacement. And I just don't see him being a FB. Fugate is a Soph. and will be aroung for atleast 2 more years. There is not enough room in this class to take a FB and if it came down to it this kid could fill in. But I do see him being a feature back if he works on his agility and speed without gaining too much more weight.

I agree with all of your post. This is the same type of back we had in Toney Williams before he blew out his knee. I think Cross jets, and this is our power back, same as you do. Hopefully he stays healthy and can give us some great production, as well as getting the short tough yards. I'm pretty excited about the possibilities.

That's a stretch. Cross compares a lot better to those two guys. Hill looks like a FB to me. Some of you see him as a RB which is cool but some of you guys saw Fugate getting carries too. Hahahaha

Dooley says that Fugate will get carries this year, even if he has to call the plays himself.

Somebody was saying that Cross's coach is a huge UV homer, no doubt trying to mess Cross up with us and get him to Virginia.

He's not a UVA homer, he coached Poindexter at whatever small junior college coach Christmas was the head coach of. So he's a Poindexter fan. But I will agree with the guy who said that coach Christmas is a huge tool and he totally ruined TJ Pitts career by trying to send him up to his homie at UVA. Ruined to the point that y'all probably have never heard of him. Was a RB at Memphis. Didn't really play much. Who knows what he could've done at a school with a decent OL. But everybody and their mother could see he couldnt get into UVA. And to that I place the blame solely on the head coach.

Sounds like a situation where his parents should have stepped in and tried to show the kid that the coach was not looking out for his best interest. Alot of shady HS coaches try to use these kids to benefit themselves and it's the parents who need to put a stop to it. JMO

His dad wasn't around and his mom trusted Christmas like a family member. If there's one thing you need to know about this guy, it's that he puts out the wholesome Christian family man vibe and then proceeds to cater to his own interests.

His name is not Cecil Newton is it? Kidding.

These kind of coaches need to be called out when they are doing more harm than good. Maybe if enough people speak out...it can keep kids from being taken advantage of.

The kid should still be blamed. It's not entirely the coaches fault. No the HC shouldn't be steering someone for his interests but the decision is still the kid's. TJ should have known he couldn't get into UVa. He could hardly get through high school

I'd rather not know about any man's thong.

Don't know if I agree with you on that. If the HS coach was advising the kid, was he supposed to think he knew more than the coach about college admitions? Football players get considerations other students don't get. Anyways, I hope the guy doesn't bollux up Cross's relationship with UT.

Says he's
6'1 1/2 225 right now. Ran a 4.6 on turf at camp. Talks about his good grades and why he committed after the offer so soon.

Congratulations to Kenneth Crawley, LaDarrell McNeil and Jason Croom for joining the Volunteer family. We are happy to have you and I wish you luck on your senior seasons, as well as the rest of the commits.

I have heard Tennessee has been doing very well preparing for the season and I can't wait to witness it this year at Neyland Stadium.

V4L.

The 91 yarder is what I like to see. This kid doesn't have breakaway speed so you know he is busting people up on the way.
