Play calling was fine last night. Players making mistakes was the problem. Last night it was primarily the WRs not catching the ball.

Vols left a boatload of points on the field with these mistakes.

3 dropped TDs, 3 missed FGs, one fumble at about the UK 20. Could be as much as 37 points we missed out on, but a minimum of 20 I'd say. This needs to get better.

No doubt legit things we can and need to improve on. I love real football insight instead of kneejerk hyperbole that some always spew. Only thing I say the pass to our tight end in the end zone was a great play by the defender his helmet hit the ball perfectly as he has coming down with the ball. It would have been incredibly hard for anybody to hold that one with that timely impact. But the other 2 should have been secured, both were tough but catchable passes we have to catch to be a great offense. And we have to be better in the kicking game than missing 3 field goals, hopefully it’s out of his system and he gets back on track. GBO

Agree on the helmet catch by the TE. That can be chalked up to good defense. Also agree about the kicker, but even there the last one was a bad snap throwing off the timing. I think he would have made that one otherwise. The other two were at the edge of his range.
