Cody may be fast in the 40 but hes a long strider and on film doesnt look as fast as he is. His speed is straight line and not so much quickness that DY has.

Lookit, I was kind of bummed when Blanc committed. Then I watched his vids. For his weight, he's a pretty strong, tough kid. He's not DY, but Blanc has good moves. Kid doesn't go down easy. And he is for real fast. I was thinking tweener, but didn't Eric Berry play QB in HS?

That last sentence looks like something Pinky would say if he were a football fan.

Uneventful night. Catholic got the ball first and Cody made the tackle on the kickoff at the 15. Catholic had a long drive and mostly ran away from his side of the field. Central finally got the ball with 5 minutes to go in the first half. The Central QB broke a long run on the option. Cody was 20 yards behind him and ran ahead and took two guys out on a pancake block. I really hope the people filming got that one, he took both guys out. Both teams were running the ball and Central was kind of using Cody as a decoy in the triple option. They would send him in motion and run the other way. He did have one nice catch where he broke two or three tackles and gained 10 yards with no blocking. Both teams only three possessions but both times Catholic punted they kicked it out of bounds 15 yards downfield instead of kicking to Cody. Central is up 7-0 at the half and the second half will be picked up tomorrow because of the weather.

the kid is a good athlete with speed and, i'm assuming, some intelligence. he'll muscle up a bit, and if he's tough he could make a mark at DB or slot receiver...He might surprise.

Ran a pick back 45 yards for a TD tonight against Catholic. Game's tied at 14, not sure how much time's left.

At the game. Very uninpressive on offense. All fit the local kids but he's a very questionable commit.

best thing this kid and the kicker that committed if they care about ut is to walk on get grants and other things to pay for them to get in school.playing for ut would be just as good as a scolership.and it would help the team.and I would say the same if he was a 5 star.think team not i.

I have no clue what type of strategy the Central coaches were using. only giving the ball to your best player 4 times in a game and having him block and be a decoy will get you beat.... which it did 21-14. As mentioned Cody did have an interception he ran back for a TD and several tackles.

I didn't think you could walk on if you was offered a scholarship ...

Why would Bullock walk on when he could have accepted a scholly at LSU. Kid kick every KO out of the end zone and 2 through the uprights Missed on a 57 yarder.

He plays my High School this week. I will post how it goes.

I wouldn't be to worried about his offensive stats, he is going to play CB or S at UT. I'd be more toned in on how he looks at those positions & from reading it sounds like he had a good defensive game.
