I understand that. But it is something to factor in when evaluating his talent. I'm not saying the kid isn't good; he looks great. But when you watch that video, please look at the defensive players. Somewhat sad.

Cody Blanc --- The Knoxville Central product enrolled early at Tennessee, and never has that been a bigger factor in Blanc's career track than in recent days because of the news surrounding Da'Rick Rogers. In addition to good speed, the 6-3, 200-pound Blanc has a good solid frame and doesn't back down from contact. With Rogers suspended, as well as Pig Howard recovering from a foot injury Blanc's opportunity to play right away is certainly there.

Im so glad to see Cody Blanc having early success with every Darick Rodgers there is a Cody Blanc or a Devrin Young who make you appriciate kids who really bleed orange.

I have been and continue to be perfectly fine with Blanc playing the slot. He can block, he can catch, he has good speed, has good size, and he likes to mix it up a little bit. Because he was an EE, it's as if he is a sophomore as far as college practice experience. He can still beat an lb or pull a safety in and leave CP or JH in 1 on 1 coverage.

Agreed. Love his athleticism and versatility. Underrated talent but not for long. IMO.
