According to the War Room on VQ, he has also picked up an offer from UNC. He is expecting a Miss St offer now as well. His recruitment is starting to pick up.

Well it is starting to get about numbers. UNC is behind since they had an open coaching vacancy since middle of november. MSU is offering since they are not going to get any of the JUCO lineman and they are probably not in on Ward either.

UT coaches I am sure would rather get Hamilton, Shanks, McCullers, Kirven. Honestly we have limited numbers and we have realisically high needs in areas but for some of the guys mentioned we would have an opening. IMO of course

Staff doesn't feel good enough about any of these guys to say no to Bryson. They want another HS DT.

That's what I heard also. Wilcox wants more freshmen that fit his scheme over the JUCOs. However, that doesn't mean we won't bring in a few junior college guys, just because of our depth problems right now. We need immediate contributors.

With Autry gone and Jacobs wavering is this West Tenn boy a take or not? He is getting a lot of interest from SEC teams and has recently been visited by our coaching staff according to tos. He has nice measurables and quickness. Thoughts?

Think we hold on to Jacobs. But guess we will see what happens after Sentimore committs today.

Yep. So hard to get a read on these west TN guys, though, since the competition is so weak. For every Patrick Willis there's a Chris Donald.

If we're willing to gamble on the likes of Cody Blanc, I don't see the problem in taking a little risk on a DT.

This is a guy you take and redshirt and let develop. He looks like he has a huge ceiling. I mean if they took Clark at DT there is no way they should pass on this kid. He looks light years better than Clark did coming out of HS IMO. He looks far stronger, more explosive, plays with better leverage and balance than Clark
