'12 TN QB Chad Voytik

His dad is the Pitt connection. good chance he stays if they like the new hire. if not Miss St was his other option but if Mullen lands the Penn St job all bets are off.
I would love to see Mullen go to Penn St. and pull the damn rug right out from underneath MSU for this Autry mess.

Watched him play earlier this year against Catholic. He definitely has the arm to make all of the throws, but the team he had around him didn't seem to help him out at all. His receivers dropped at least 5+ perfectly thrown balls and he was running for his life most of the time behind a seemingly porous offensive line. The only knock on him is his height, and maybe his accuracy. He made his HS team look good when they actually caught the ball.

Is this kid really a 4* though......he looks small to me. He has a decent arm but he just looks 5'8 on film......haven't seen him in person though so I maybe completely missing on this.

Pro style QB and he is 6' tall....does not compute. He will not see over the hogs on the o-line at UT....not a fit.

He has arguably the quickest release of the 2012 class and is a good decision maker. Arm strength is good. He can make all the throws. Only question is the height.

But pro-Voytik people will point to Brees and say look at this height.

Imo it all depends on wether he is in the right offense which is the small lineman, up tempo, spread sorta of thing

Vandy was his #2 according to his dad but now they are not recruiting him unless they fail on Kiel and Robinette. If he does de-commit from Pitt he is MSU's espicially with their third QB transferring recently

You mean when they fail on Kiel and Robinette.

So would you push for the kid?

I remember when I could gauge someone's exact height down to the inch just by walking past him on a street. Can you teach me?
You must be really short then. If you're 6 feet tall, and you see someone noticeably shorter than you, then its safe to say he's not 6 feet tall

Looking like Kiel is going to Vandy so it wont be a problem.

seriously? i know its an exciting time for Vandy, you have a coach that has found a way to utilize some of the talent, and win games and be competitive. But as an organization, you have a long way to go to be at the level of teams like LSU, Alabama, Florida, UGA. Even Tennessee has been down for the past 5 years, but as big as a machine as we are, we cannot fail. Vandy will I believe become a more competitive team because Franklin demands it, and can coach it out of the players he has. However, the simple things like facilities, fan base, and academics can really hold up a program if they are not established, too hard to qualify, and people lack general interest. Vandy is trying to make the strides to becoming more of the SEC football school rather than the school that just keeps the conferences collective "GPA" high. You have great basketball and baseball and will always have that. I just think it takes time, more so than you think to re-establish a program like Franklin wants and their are always going to be growing pains. Tennessee it looks like will finally get back to winning IF certain things fall our way. Either way, I wish Vandy luck just like every team.

How did this kid get to be an Army All American? He's not even the best QB in the state, both him and Kimbro looked out of their league yesterday
