Meh.
The food at Calhoun's tastes different when you realize an employee died in the grease trap at some point.
Never been, honestly. Not a big bbq guy. But I like copper cellar and I think Aubrey’s is there’s too right? Aubrey’s was by far one of my favorites.
Also when I was a teen and working in the food industry, I always had the fear of dying by falling face first into a deep fryer

Rick at Stefanos was the man. Fed me a couple of times when I was just completely broke
There was this young lady at the gym today that was bragging about how much she made in tips at her job. She's young blonde and somewhat fit, so... But what was interesting was when I said, vote Trump and you won't have to pay taxes on those tips. She chuckled. Then I heard her say "Be nice to your waitresses, tip them in cash".
All mine go on the card from now on, or I discount the tip by 30%.
When I was in Knoxville in the 90s, Copper Cellar on the strip and Regas were still kicking and I loved Ye Olde Steakhouse My husband and I our first date was at Darryl’s in 1995.. I remember sharing those homemade big crackersCopper Cellar West/Cappuccino's, the Half Shell, and Regas were the places to dine in the 1970s. Alexander’s, Hannah Place, and Doodle’s as well. Sad that only one has survived.
I would think if it is, they would have to be honest about their tips, report them and then have it deducted. It is an interesting tack regardless. Of course states that steal from you would probably not have the same magnanimity. They will still want their cut I'm sure.I just don't see how that realistically gets passed on a federal level. It absolves tipped employees from paying taxes on about 80% of their income.
I say this as someone who has earned about half their income from the past 18 years from reported gratuity.

Oh I know. But the younger generation pays for everything with their phone, so they are effectively killing cash transactions. And it's only going to become more the norm. I can't wait for a government digital currency. It will be interesting to watch going forward.Lol. No one reports their cash tips so I wouldn't hold your breath.
