someone just put two plane tickets to knoxville and back in his mail box. Nothing wrong with that right?![]()
Actually, as long as it's not a booster or anyone affiliated with the university, I think it's ok. It's a wonder there aren't a lot of people who would otherwise be boosters that just sit it out so they can give money to recruits to steer them in the "right" direction (from their perspective). But then again, there probably are a lot of people like that. I could be wrong on this one, but I think I'm right.
Like giving out punishment the 'AA decides who they want to hammer about benefits. Floyd was suspended 4 games (reduced to 2) for his HS raising money so he could attend camps and visits but SC and Aub had players get 2 to 6 games for free hotel rooms, rental cars and airline tickets. Many Fl counties now just send many of their kids on a bus tour to offset the cost and keep the 'AA from looking into the kids and family.
That covers official visits (which is common knowledge.) What about unofficials?
I'm pretty sure this ND unofficial visit is Alexander's first out of state visit to a college like this. I could be wrong. The Rivals article written about Alexander today hinted that this was a first time thing for him.
I also think it is interesting that he didn't make a trip to UT while he was "committed". But, at that point in his recruitment he might have had other things to do.
Anyway, in the new article, Alexander named about 15 or 20 schools that he was seriously considering and UT wasn't included. So I wouldn't hold my breath about anything happening between UT and Alexander.
That's so stupid. He goes from being "sure" that is where he is going to play, to bouncing 15-20 schools ahead of UT? I'm mad bro.
Still looking for the M-O-N-E-Y. Said it two months ago and will continue to say it.
We need to forget this guy. Not worth all the drama.
