'13 GA CB Shaq Wiggins (Transferring to UT)

How did we seem to loose so much momentum with this guy I thought he was high on us early on in his recruitment right before he committed o UGA

Not sure, but Neibuhr just tweeted that his top three are UGA, UF and Ole Miss. Not sure why we lost so much momentum with him.

Neibuhr just posted an update mentioning 4 team including the Vols. Can't read $

To summarize, he had a phone conversation with Derrick Henry and they decided that the recruiting process had become "unfun". Therefore, they've both decided to look at their options. Wiggins said he is really liking Florida right now and would like to get to Tennessee and Clemson this summer.

To add: He said he didn't evaluate everything when he committed to Georgia, so he's now stepping back to take everything in. He says the recruiting process is much more serious now.

Good to hear. We are definitely getting in on some good DBs this year.

Good to hear? We can take the dbs in-state and won't miss a beat. Hope Florida takes him though. About time UF got my kind of good news. :) Donald Gray will be much better than this kid at the next level.

It is nice that we are getting in on quality DBs. I already know how you feel about Wiggins, but he is a quality DB and it has shown on the camp circuit.

All of the guys we're in on have showed out at camps too. I'm glad they'll all be in the same spot( The Opening) here soon. They'll be at the Rivals Five Star Challenge too. We'll see how Wiggins stacks up against Ramsey, Fuller, and others.

Was he getting killed out there? Heard nothing about the kid.

did you watch the 7 on 7 all day on sunday? they mentioned him a number of times. here is a writeup from day 1 evaluations:

Wiggins showed off his ability to press bigger receivers in coverage on Saturday, and did an excellent job rerouting the receivers and moving his hips to cut off the route. Most of the time receivers had to play through Wiggins to get to the ball, and that is extremely tough against a defensive back with his ability to make plays on the ball.

I figured he did fine, just didn't get to watch and haven't heard anything. Thanks
