To add to what OCIVol has posted. Dye's Top-5 consists of AU, Clemson, UT, UGA, and South Carolina.

"I just like that they have been hurting for running backs for a while and if I went there then I'd have a good chance to play," the Elberton, Ga. native said. "The coaches are pretty cool. I liked that they related to the players. Coach Graham is a very good coach and they are building a new facility."

"He's a cool dude," Dye said. "He's down to earth and will tell you how it is. He doesn't sugarcoat things. He told me that I'd have a good chance to playearly. He says they have been hurting and he says I'm the kind of running back he's looking for to play at Tennessee."

"I want a place that I can feel at home," Dye said. "I want to be comfortable with my surrounding and play for good coaches. I want to get a good education and expand my horizons."

"Probably sometime this fall or after my senior season," Dye said. "I'm going to lean on my mom and my coach for advice. They just want me to take it slow and go where I feel comfortable. My coach has told me I can't go wrong because my top five are all good schools."

Auburn's fans are beyond delusional. I would be very surprised if AU wouldn't take a committment from Dye. AU's fans are just saying that because they know Dye is favoring Clemson ATP.

I still think Dye is favoring Auburn and Clemson. I would like to get back in it with him like it appears we have with Wilkins.

According to Auburn mods, AU has Derrick Green as their #1 RB on their board. Also, they apparently like Wilkins moreso than Dye. They think Wilkins is very close to announcing for Auburn and then I believe Dye would be out.

However, I think that point is invalid anyway because I think Dye is really liking Clemson and favors them quite a bit over Auburn. But I think Clemson has Derrick Green as the #1 RB on their board as well. Or at least that is what they are telling him.

If Wilkins announces for AU & Green decides on Clemson, the recruitment of Dye could get very interesting. I would love for UT to be able to land Dye. UT has needed an elite back for years now. Dye would be the feature RB in Knoxville.

I believe CJG will get an elite RB by 2/1/2013. If we have a decent season, it should be no problem. I also believe Marlon Lane will have a very good season if he stays healthy. JMO

I agree with this assesment... Dye has been leaning toward clemson from the beginnig ...Clemson, AU and UT all want him a RB ...UGA originally wanted him at LB, which Dye does not want to play in College... The only thing that concerns him with UT is that we now have alot of RB's in the Stable... not saying they are the best options by no means but he wants to play early... another thing that helps us is that we have offered his Brother... Marquise and him are very close they would like to play together...Dye is very close with his family... and Distance from home is going to play a huge factor..offering his brother was HUGE... this will keep us in the hunt for sure... Key will be to see where these other 13' recruit land if Clemson picks up one and AU lands one too... Then UT will be in the drivers seat... Elbert County football History hurts Dye with this Valdon Cooper 12' recruit with Illionis which was a close friend of Dye..Cooper left Illionis and now with Ga Southern due to family issues.. that has weighed on Dye decisions to stay close to home...I will post more as i get more info!

I wouldn't be surprised to see him commit to Clemson in the next couple of weeks. I just don't get the feeling Clemson is a longterm player for Green, which makes me believe we will fill our final RB spot sooner rather than later. This narrows it down to Dye and Kamara.

Kamara is the darkhorse in this scenario. He will be visiting this weekend with his good friend Ryan Jenkins, who just commited a couple of weeks back. I was kind of surprised he didn't commit last week at dawg night. With that said, still think he ends up at Uga.

I talked to several people that are on the staff at AU and Clemson and they said they are not gonna offer Marquice. Knoxville is only three hours from Elberton not far at all. Plus Coach Graham has told numerous people that Tyshon was the back he wanted most because of the similiarities to Lattimore. Theres no backs except for Marlin Lane at UT now that are on Tyshon's level.

Clemson is in great shape with Kamara.
