I really don't see why everyone thinks we beat Bama. Not happening.

Yeah Ole Miss is a much better team than us. If Bama does us the same way they've done Michigan, Arky, and Ole Miss I want to see it. We've got one of the most dangerous offenses in the country right now. Tell Bama to stop us all game. I don't think Bama is as good as UGA on offense.

Man we are what we are a 3-2 team, and Bama is what they are.. Number one team and defending National Champs. They are on top until they get knocked off. Just the way it is, I think we can compete with them.. but at the end of the day our depth is going to get us, especially on defense. We still haven't proven capable of containing the outside. Which is a huge problem.. especially with our safeties. It will be a good game but Bama will pull away.. Saban is still Saban. We aren't there yet. Bray will have to play the best game of his career to pull this one of.. it is possible but I am not as confident as you are

The way we played UGA, I think he can keep it close. Like the UGA game, we may have chances to take the game. Not being orange-tinted 100%, maybe a little, but we could have beat UGA, leaving 2 TD's on the field, 1 FG, and 3 drives to win the game.

Do you think we lost to UGA based on depth??? Because I felt we actually finished stronger than them in the fourth as a team.

In the secondary.... yes. Our Lbs weren't exactly great either but I put more of the blame on them. And how can you honestly say we finsihed stronger than UGA? We did play excellent ball in the last quarter but our offense had 2 chances to finish and they didn't. I'm very impressed with our O, but extremely worried about our D.

How many touchdowns did the D give up in the fourth?

Also depth and talent are different. Talent hurts us in the secondary.

We controlled the game in the fourth to an extent. That's why I say we finished stronger. Some of their players made plays late to win it for them on defense.

But how impressive was Bama when Ole Miss were hitting them in the mouth and pushing the ball down the field?

Also do you think Bama's offense is as good as UGA?

I think Brewer has no business being our cover safety. I believe LM already has better instincts than Brewer and we will see going forward. Brewer needs to be in the box if anything.
And hell no. UGA has a better QB and WR group. I think the RB group is a tie. Bama has more talent at RB but they don't have as much depth at RB IMO. Bama's OL is definitely better.

Depth had absolutely nothing to do with the UGA loss. Our players didn't make plays when we needed them to. We missed a few adjustments on D and a few assignments on D.

I'm not overly worried about depth going into games anymore, especially when we can rotate the front 7. Our weakness is our secondary, and Bama isn't going to throw all over us.

Personally, I think we have just as good a chances to beat Bama as we did UGA. Bama just plays with that swag/chip on the shoulder. They have Saban behind them, and that exudes confidence.

So you think they're more talented than UGA at RB??? The UGA boys are big play threats every snap. They've got two special young backs.

Which Bama back has shown he's special? Yeldon maybe but the UGA backs have been more impressive against similar level competition(actually UGA has played better teams).

The Bama OL is my biggest worry. We've got to take some risks to get penetration up front. Putting Bama behind the sticks will help.

I really think it'll be a shootout and Bama can't really score like us.

I'd be surprised to see that defense shut us down.

I said before the season Bama was an easier matchup than UGA. People laughed thinking Bama is just this out of this world team. They'll see in three weeks what they're all about. This team has been in tough games. Let's see what Bama is all about in a tough game. I think they'll quit personally. Especially with them being on the road in a hostile environment against a team that's punishing that supposedly wonderful defense.

You really think Bama's defense matches up better with us than UGA and Florida?

No, I agree with you from a coverage stand point, but Saban is so good at doing what we try to do on offense - exploiting your weaknesses. I think they will get to Bray more than any other defense we have faced this year. We'll have to wait and see how he matures to the SEC pressure he has been getting lately.

I do believe that Georgia's offense is better and here is why.
1: Gurley and Marshell are as good if not better than Lacy and Yeldon
2: I believe Aaron Murry is better than AJ McCarron
3: They have better WR.
The only place Bama might have a slight edge would be at O line but just by a little bit

They don't get to any others QBs why would they start in three weeks? Us lining up and running the ball on them will stop all those exotic blitzes. I also doubt he thinks the CBs can hold up 1v1 on our guys.

I agree about the UGA backs. And Bama can't afford to have a shootout with us. They won't hang. And we need to catch some breaks.
We need CP to get his swagger back. I know he scored against UGA (on a reverse). We need to him to catch those deep balls.
If we can establish any kind of running game, I think play action will really influence Bama's young LBs (Hubbard and DePriest). Rivera could be very instrumental in the win. Chaney will have to do his homework. He needs to set up isolation mismatches.

This is my point though. It doesn't matter if they have been so far. Saban will realize that the best way to slow down Bray is to pressure him all night, so they will be sending guys relentlessly. I think we caught Georgia a little by surprise by how effectively we were running the ball which kept them on their heals late in the game. I just don't see us doing that with Bama's line. Like I said, hope I'm wrong.

We run the ball everything else will take care of itself.

Bama doesn't have a #9(Ogletree) in the middle of the defense. His athleticism gave Bray hell.

I guess our OL should just tuck their tails. Kidding me right. What will Bama do just use 7 to stop the run???

Man please what you watched Saturday wasn't just a fluke. We had success running of Florida too(we just stopped running it). But I guess we just sneak up on teams now.

As always, this is the key to winning games in the SEC, especially late in the game.

UGA was stuck with the same problem every defense will have with us.

Go 1v1 on the outside or get hit in the mouth with the run game. As long as Neal and Lane continue to run hard and downhill teams can get ready.

Our OL has confidence now to match their talent. Dangerous thing for defenses.

Say what? You went off on your own her bro. I think are line will play very aggressive, I just don't think we will gain as many yards on Bama. If we do, we win. Saban is going to take one aspect away from our offense, or at least try, and I think he will do so by pressuring Bray. Now how Chaney adjusts is the question. Maybe screens, quick routes by the wr's....all I know is everyone better be on the same page this game.
