We have some very upset big money people, they want football healthy. For the first time in years i think we have a very good chance at seeing some changes made.

Thank you in the end that is what we all want a healthy football program. I think at this point the fanbase will not be satisfied if Dooley returns. I have never been a Dooley fan but am now seeing he has been in a tough spot the last few years.

They think this kid grows in to a nt from what i heard. I dont know who he is or his measurables. We're getting killed in recruiting and have a few guys that are shakey at best.

Who's shaky at best?

Miles obviously, Carr scares me...anyone else?

No offense to Skeet but if the analysts (Hubbs, Paul, and John) do not know, I doubt Skeet has any idea whatsoever. The coaches probably don't even know at this point either. If JRM stays, Carr stays IMO.

A kid like Miles probably would not tell someone like Hubbs he is wavering, i could be wrong on that. But the coaches arent expecting Miles to stick with the vols. They know something from someone.

If not UT, my guess would be Ariz St or A&M. Miles was going to be a big get. He would have definitely challenged for immediate playing time.

Also, a guy posted in Miles' thread and said he was solid. So no validity to that?

If hes solid, someone is pulling a good one on the coaches.

No idea, the coaches have serious concerns over 3-4 current commits. Miles and Carr would be 2 good guesses, not sure of the others.

Hubbs mentioned that Skipper migt take a visit to Stanford...

I wouldn't mind that one...of trade him for Morris in a heartbeat...never understood that one

Skipper is going to play LT in the future IMO. I've seen analysts reports from folks who have seen him in person and he's got the build of a lineman with the athleticism of a TE. I hope he signs with us. JMO TIFWIW.

Was afraid of this. I'm sure certain posters will blame the things said on this board, but Dooley has done nothing to instill confidence in the fanbase this year. I kept holding on to hope but lost all confidence after the Miss St game.

hmm. im interested if the BOT will call their bluff.

absolutely, these BOT folks are all about power, they don't give an ish, just like skeeter said, many could care less about football.

If the BOT really wants to screw themselves, then we're in bigger trouble than I thought. Who says the big money guys are bluffing. They give millions of dollars and expect to have a voice for that money. If the BOT doesn't like what they have to say, it doesn't seem unlikely that they would put their checkbooks away until the BOT changes their position. The donors have the leverage. The BOT relies on that money and they rely on the money football brings in. If they let their power go to their head, they will harm the entire UT system. Whether they like it or not, they have to care about football. It makes too much money not to.
