I saw a few in March after his visit to UT for junior day. They seemed very good and he enjoyed the visit. I have not seen any to suggest he is a lock to anyone or that he is favoring any team at this point. That seems to be more message board speculation.

But again his visit to UT seemed to go as well as any visits he has had.

Keith got a hold of him about a week or 2 ago and said UT was in good shape with Vonn Bell.

What does great shape mean? My definition of great shape in recruiting is the team has just as good of a chance as any other at this point. That your team at the current time has a legit shot at landing him.

Sorry I do not try and read to much into recruiting talk by team sites or recruiting sites. They use language that allow fans to get excited without really ever saying anything.

I guess everyone will find out in a few weeks when he names his top 5 or 6.

I didn't call him a lock. I just stated my opinion on the kid. The only difference with this kid is that he's instate. He also grew up a big UT fan like most of the instate kids Bama and Auburn sign. Feels good to at least be fighting Saban on our home turf. Saban will catch hell coming to the state of Tennessee if we start back winning.

I am sticking my nose up at someone because I do not believe in locks in recruiting. OK

I'll be surprised if the Berry Twins aren't Vols too. I'm more confident in TKjr. than any 2014 guy. And there's a reason we're talking about a 2014 guy. He's a 5 star guy that's a Vol legacy. Just like Eric Berry( wonder where he ended up) who's dad is another Legacy. I wonder if they both are any kin to the Berry Twins. Lol TW these legacy kids are locks with our coaching situation. Either we win big or we'll hire a rockstar coach. And I personally don't want to go after a coach that is under the Saban camp period if Dooley flames out. Time to go get a rockstar if Dooley can't win this year(I do think he'll win this year though).

I agree 100%. I don't blame them (TKjr and the Berry twins) for saying they are open to other schools. They want to go through the process and by saying this , they don't get labeled as Vol locks. They want the attention and they will get it.
