Hubbs said that as long as Tennessee wins this season that he likes where we are w/ Bell.

This is going to be the main theme with a lot of these kids recruitment this year. If things go well then we'll see recruiting ramp up in a big way for UT.

I realize this may provoke a negative response, but.Does anyone else here think he looks like a better WR than a S. Only saw the one highlight clip but as a S is OK but has real promise as a WR in my eyes.

You haven't watched enough of his film. Take a look at his game against Heritage last year.

Playing with him he was a playmaker on both sides.

Very nice hands could be the next Ed Reed a safety that can play WR anyday.

I agree he's a playmaker. But as a S he looks a little more like a CB playing S. Lot of turnovers but minus the violent hits. Has excellent hands and picks holes well. Not saying he wouldn't be a good S just that he looks more natural as a WR in the ONE highlight clip I saw.I liked Randolphs film and Miles better as a S than Bells.

Woah you def didnt see his highlights there was alot of Big Hits

Who was the guy hatin on bonner a few months back? Allworldvol or something? Is this that guy's alter ego ?

Nope, I liked Bonners film alot. Doesn't matter to me if you agree with me or not I assure you I will not lose sleep over it. Just making an observation, we'll know better in a couple years who was right and who was wrong. Again as far as defense goes for me he has a better shot at being a CB than a top shelf safety. As I stated I only saw his film on Rivals and he looked a little tennative when he had the opportunity to lay the wood.Seemed much more at home in pass coverage. Still think he would be a better CB or WR than safety, but I'm not a scout like you guys so we'll see.:)

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on a message board. At least you weren't really blasting bell like all world was bonner. Carry on

Thanks and you are correct, I like Bell alot I just question safety as his best position. I surely want to see him in O&W.

Yeah move a kid from being an elite safety to a mediocre Wr sounds just like a vol fan topic. Kid is a stud at safety and you would be insane to change his position

Bell said he is going to narrow his list of schools once his Spring practice is over & he will take some visits this summer. He doesn't know when he will make a decision, just when he feels the time is right.

IMO Tennessee is in real good shape w/ Bell, I think if we can start out 4-0 Bell may pull the trigger & commit.

Bell+Miles would be SICK!!

Randolph, Mcneil, Miles, and Bell. That's a LOT of talent.

And only at Safety. Throw in Bonner, Gray, and the potential Fuller, Ramsey, or Alexander (in no particular order and I'm sure I missed a few corners), and we've got the makings of a seriously nasty secondary.

Making dangerous can based assumptions about development, of course.
