Not attacking you by any means, but what has Urban Meyer proven. The only thing he has proven to me is that he can win at Utah with a Great "college QB and a decent NFL QB in an extremely easy conference, and can't win at Florida without Tim Tebow. With Smith at Utah he had the number 1 overall pick in a really bad conference and he only won at Florida with probably the greatest "college" QB to ever play. So tell me what has he proven?
He's proven he can win and win big. Are you going to fault him for recruiting great players?
Who cares how many they would win in the SEC, what does that matter at all?
No but I am going to fault him for not being able to win wothout great players. He hasn't done anything without superior talent, and I am willing to bet that if he inherited the same situation that Dooley did he wouldn't have any better record.

I know its starting to sound like I love Tebow, which I don't, but he doesn't come anywhere near the national title game without Tebow in 2007.
That team was loaded with talent. Dog Zook all you want but he was one of if not the best recruiter in the country at UF.
Tebow was a great player that Urban recruited and landed. Most coaches would have left Tebow on the sidelines all year but Urban included him in his gameplan and took advantage of his skill set. Sounds like good coaching.
hogwash.
Urban Meyer is an excellent coach. He has Zero to prove.
He's won everywhere
Including Bowling Green
 at calling that Utah team "BCS caliber"
anything to not give him credit.
I can now move on from reading this mess :salute:
