No but I am going to fault him for not being able to win wothout great players. He hasn't done anything without superior talent, and I am willing to bet that if he inherited the same situation that Dooley did he wouldn't have any better record.

Who cares how they do in the Big 10? Just making a point that those teams are not that good, and you are saying they will compete with OSU, which they will, just means that Urban is not that great of a coach. Just about any DI coach could have coached those florida teams with Tebow to a national title.

Not trying to take up for Urbs. I don't like him either. But there are very few coaches who can win without talent. And the one thing he does really well is pull in talent.

No doubt Urban could flat out recruit, but how the heck did someone who was so great at coaching and recruiting leave a florida team with so many holes once Tebow left. They were the best team in the country and just about any kid would have wanted to play there, but he left them with so many suspect players when he left it was pitiful.

That team was loaded with talent. Dog Zook all you want but he was one of if not the best recruiter in the country at UF.

Tebow was a great player that Urban recruited and landed. Most coaches would have left Tebow on the sidelines all year but Urban included him in his gameplan and took advantage of his skill set. Sounds like good coaching.

I second this, take a look at that roster on offense and defense and tell me they shouldn't have one the national title. And the way Tebow played the next 3 years, they should have one 4 in a row.

Not true, 90% of other teams would have started him, and yes Urban found a spot to play him and thats great, but the whole argument is what has he done without Tebow. Not counting Utah where he won an easy conference with a BCS caliber team.

The guy can recruit there is no doubt about that, but his coaching ability is a little suspect if you ask me. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. Unfortunately you will look like a genious cause he is coaching at a storied program that recruits itself well in the easiest BCS conference in America.

And from a coaching perspective I would take Nick Saban, Brady Hoke, Mark Dantonio, and several other guys ahead of him. And I think his inability to coach and ability to recruit is what led Florida to soooo many arrests during his tenure. He knew he needed the best talent to win, didn't matter if the kids could stay out of Jail or not, or pass a drug test, Just win.

Thats fine I respect your opinion, we will just have to wait and see, I feel like he has just fallen into a great position everywhere he has gone, and I am willing to bet he will never win a title at OSU despite having superior talent. I think there are atleast 2 better coaches in that conference better than him. If I am wrong I will eat my hat.

You can apply your logic to just about any NC coach to determine he is unproven.

99% of coaches would have sat Tebow behind Leak.
