Alabama: “They are the No. 1 team in the nation. Coach Nick Saban is about business. He knows what it takes to get his guys to the next level. And you know they are going to get the job done. They bring in elite players and they are national championship winners. That is all I can say.”

Ohio State: “You saw what Coach Urban Meyer was able to do at Florida. He took a break, but all I see is a national championship in the Buckeyes’ future. I know he is going to bring in elite players and do it big there. I just spoke to Coach (Everett) Withers Thursday, and he wished me good luck in my game. He wished he could be down here to watch me, but he said he would be down during their bye week. As far as distance is concerned, you have to become a man one day, so at some point it is time to get out of the house. This is a business, so if you want to get to the next level you have to do whatever it takes and whatever is best for you.”

Tennesessee: "With Tennessee it is about tradition. I have always liked Tennessee and I talked to Coach [Derek] Dooley Thursday, and he wished me luck. I spoke to Coach [Derrick] Ansley this morning and Coach [Josh] Conklin is out here tonight, so they are just showing me love."

I am keeping things open,” Bell said. “I have not set any official visit dates yet. Ohio State, Alabama and Tennessee are all going to get official visits, and beyond that I will keep it open. I am not sure if I will take all five officials, but we will do whatever is best.”

Up next for the No. 60 prospect in the country is a trip to Athens.

“I will be attending the Tennessee vs. Georgia game and I am excited about seeing my boy [Devin] Bowman,” Bell said. -ESPN

so hopefully Bell will see us bet UGA and impress him even more.

vol202020 said he always like "UT"-texas..... Well from this interview it sounds as if you might have been mistaken.......

Bell
Must be mistaken. He didn't check with 202020 to get his facts straight

FWIW I read on one our sites today that Bell will probably not end up at UA. That it appears to be an UT/OSU battle. The real threat for UT is Meyer right now. UA seems to be in 3rd for his services.:hi:

Dude doesn't know anything. Just a troll stirring up nonsense rumors. And, why do trolls gravitate to the number 20 anyway? RM20, vol202020. Is this code or something?

Maybe I'm not up to speed on my forum definitions.

Troll-.........................?

Someone who slinks around various threads either bashing people, being extremely negative, or providing false info to see how many people they can get to believe them.

Also someone who would completely disappear if people would just have the good foresight to ignore their comments. Unfortunately, that won't happen. I'm convinced people actually enjoy the trolls.

According to some, a troll is anyone that doesn't like the way the program is going.

More like those who feel it's their obligation to proclaim how unsatisfied they are in every single thread every single day to every single person who even thinks something positive about the program.

Mariakis commented on what he feels has each of Bell's top three schools still in the running for the services of his star player.

Quote:
On Alabama - "Alabama is just Alabama. Right now they are playing for the national championship almost year in and year out, they always have a chance for it."

On Ohio State - "With Ohio State, I think he and coach (Urban) Meyer have clicked from day one. They've kind of been right at the top of the list from day one. They had a great visit up there this summer and I think he's always been sold there because of the relationship he has with the coaching staff up there and how comfortable his whole family feels about Ohio State."

On Tennessee - "I think Tennessee has the emotional vote. He has always been a Tennessee fan so I think that's one of the things he's leaning on."

At this time Bell is still contemplating when he will make his official visits, though there is a set date in mind for when he will be back in Columbus.

Quote:
"I think he has the official visit date set for Ohio State," Mariakis explained. "I don't know the exact date but it's for the Nebraska game. He went to Alabama two weeks ago but that wasn't an official visit and I'm not sure when he's going to Tennessee but he'll make those trips."

There has been a lot of speculation as to when Bell will make his college decision with some saying there was the potential for this recruitment to head close to Signing Day, Mariakis doesn't believe this will be the case.

Quote:
"I think he'll make his decision before Signing Day," Mariakis said. "Exactly when that will be I don't know but I've got a feeling it will be before that all-star game down in Orlando (Under Armour All-American game). I think it will be late December but it could also be sooner, once he makes those visits everything could come together and he could make a decision. I don't think he's going to be one of those guys that draws a hat out of a bag on Signing Day."
