"Shocked" and "Looked Down Upon" for choosing to come to Tennessee? Not sure if I am reading too much into those statements, but Tennessee has a rich tradition in putting WR's into the NFL. We currently have the best WR corp in the country as well. I am super stoked with this kid's commitment. I believe those statements reflect that other coaches are definitely negative recruiting against UT.

Agreed, I def think we are getting crushed at every opportunity possible.

It is going to hurt us more this cycle than last. It is happening to UT all over the country from many schools/coaches. CDD's position is on the hot seat and this is a "make-or-break" season for him. Coaches are saying, "Why go to UT when you may not even be coached by the same people who recruited you from the moment you step foot on campus for your first day of training/classes/etc.?" We, as fans, can't just sit around and throw a pity party for our players, CDD, or the program.

He made a great decision, and he won't regret it. WR U. VFL. Go Vols. V, B. JMO, IMO. Out.

But as a junior last season at Douglass, Harris made an immediate impact. He tallied 39 receptions for 734 yards and 11 touchdowns and also notched 367 yards and two touchdowns on eight kickoff returns.

“We don’t have a bunch of 6-2, 6-3 guys running around that can run,” Pinkney said. “Our depth chart isn’t that extensive. To get a kid like that, with his skill set – he can catch. He was raw. His route running and stuff, he still needed to work on that. But he had all the measurables and the intangibles, and he can catch. He’s not afraid to catch the slant or catch the ball across the middle. He can high point the ball well, he has elevation and he can run.”

The difference is, this year we and the recruits will know before national signing day whether Dooley will be the Coach of the Vols. He will be off the Hot Seat one way or another...

I know those statements are crazy.I could see shocked but looking down on statement sucks.But could meaning as in how ramsey has been talked about

Does anyone think that If USC gets an open spot then Harris will decommit and head west?
