So, we cancelled with Harris because the Auburn recruit was coming into town and Jones wanted to be in Knoxville. Is that not a smack in the face to Harris?

Sorry, someone more important was coming by campus, we'll come see you another time.

I think he cancelled because he was on College Football Live today and if I'm a betting man I think he interviewed at least one WR coach. JMO.

His meeting was tonight, but he had the official visitor coming, and cancelled with Harris. I know this guy is an EE, so you're pressed for time, but you bailed on a recruit and his family for another recruit. Doesn't look good

I haven't seen that mentioned about any disappointment. I hope that's not true. His tweet seemed like he was okay with everything.

espn article had quote from his mom indicating she felt like they would stay VFL...""I'm pretty certain we will stay put...I think we'll be happy there"

in home visit scheduled for Saturday.

Butch has been somewhat busy recently, trying to improve the program. He doesn't owe us a schedule of his day. He's rescheduled, two days later for Harris. Not a deal breaker

Jones is scheduled to visit with Harris on Saturday now per Fortenberry...

Hopefully Jones will have a WR coach by then...but the silver lining is that if Harris is visiting Jones in his home then how can he be taking an OV to Oregon?

If the visit is now on Saturday then we should have our WR coach very soon and I'd wager that he will be with Jones in the Harris home on Saturday. I seriously doubt there is any hurt feelings if he has cancelled his Oregon trip to meet with CBJ.

Harris wants to be a VOL IMO...he just needs reassurance of his decision...

Think about it...you're 17 and about to make the biggest choice of your life so far...then suddenly a large part of the reason behind your original decision is gone...

I know I'd be concerned in that situation...I bet those concerns will be eased with the in home...especially if the new WR coach is there

This I'd be tripping out til I met the guy. I felt like a recruit during the press conference. Like we finally had, you know.....a real football coach
