That's what I thought too after looking at his photo. How does he compare with North? Could these two be the next D'rick and Hunter? Without the attitude of course.
North is an elite athlete for sure. He looks a lot like DR but seems better in open space.
I feel like if Harris puts some weight on then he could be more like Alshon Jeffrey, although he will never have that much weight, he has the potential to be a great possession WR that makes big plays bc he knows how to use his size. Harris doesn't seem to have the elite speed like Hunter, but he still manages to be a big play WR. Knows how to high point balls and has good hands. He can be as good as he wants to be, IMO.
Croom, Harris and North would be a scary good lineup (6'5", 6'4", 6'4").Like JRM...I believe that Harris being an EE gives him a great shot at being in the 2-deep this year...
The only WRs with game experience (after CP and JH declare) are Pig, Carter and Dallas...all slot types...then you have Bowles who's potentially an outside guy and Blanc who's definitely a slot...that doesn't leave much outside...
And none of them have an edge scheme wise...they're all starting over...
Definitely see Harris in the 2-deep at one of the spots...this of course is subject to change if we land North

-P Fort"It was good. I didn't really know what to expect but he really showed me that I wanted to stay," Harris said.
"Just his energy. I believe in what he's speaking of and I believe what he's speaking about. Coach Graham really seems to trust him and that's a big part of it. He has the same intentions with me as coach (Darin) Hinshaw and coach (Derek) Dooley did and that was a big up. We saw eye-to-eye on a lot of things.
"He said they'll throw me all over on the offensive side of the ball because he said he can teach me to do a lot of things because I haven't been really taught to be a wide receiver yet because I've never had a wide receivers coach so he said I have not bad habits. He said that's a coach's dream to start with a good athlete from ground up because you get to build them," Harris said.
Harris said he is scheduled to leave for Tennessee Jan. 2. and said he's excited to get acclimated to the life of a college student athlete.
"I just want to get down there and get acclimated to how I'm going to be living every day. I know they're going to make me get up in weight," Harris said. "They didn't say I needed to be at a certain amount, they just want me a little bit bigger and a little bit firmer."
