I saw on one of their boards he's going in as a preferred walk on.

He got the same deal at both schools. Feels like he has a better chance to start at Cinci than at UT. Makes sense considering how deep we are the position, even if it's been a lot of underperforming so far. But think of it this way; if Jones can turn the special teams around (something he's known for), we're pretty stacked at the specialist position.

Best of luck to the kid. I know we all love the Vols but personally if I knew I wasn't getting a surefire scholarship or starting slot I'd probably try to stay closer to home too.
