13' PF Johnathan Williams III

Not sure that we'll have a spot available, but this could get interesting again with the Haith situation.

Would. Be. Awesome.

But the question is...where would we get the room?

Pretend that we get Otoowah.....We already have to get rid of one player, we going to get rid of two?

Chevious and Edwards? Moore and Reese, with their increased PT, isn't leaving.

Hall, McBee, and Miller are leaving.

Already have Hubbs, Davis, and Landry.

You get Otoowoah and Williams III...Chievous leaves...I just don't know who would else would leave.

And the question is...would you take Owootoah and Williams III...btw, I don't think we get either, but just wondering out loud.

PG- Golden/Owootoah
SG- McRae/Hubbs
SF- Richardson/Moore
PF- Maymon/Reese
C- Stokes/Makanjoula

oor

PG- Golden/Moore
SG- McRae/Hubbs
SF- Richardson/Reese
PF- Maymon/Williams III
C- Stokes/Makanjoula

Hmmmm.....

I prefer the top rotation, we need a PG bad.

That's the second question, where do you find the room (1st is would he be interested), but I do think if he's interested you find the room. I could see staff recommending Landry go to prep school for a year posssibly. Edwards probably isn't happy with his PT, and with the wing being as loaded as it'll be does he wanna return? Then again, does he want to switch schools again?

I don't expect Q back, but as you said that's 1 spot, I'm not sure who would be the 2nd but you'd have to find a way IMO.

If I had to bet I don't think we get either of them either. J3 at this point is nothing to talk about honestly, he gets out of his LOI then we'll see if we even make contact. Owootoah is the better chance, but our history of bad PG decisions (Washpun>hickey, Moore>Harris) I'm just not holding my breath with this one.

Ideally you would add both...would ease many people's concerns about 2014-2015 team being awfully thin. With that said, if I had to choose one I'd absolutely take E-man, no doubt about it. We have absolutely got to add another PG in order for this team to reach its full potential next year.

If Edwards leaves he will have to sit out a year. Being a Senior, I don't think that will work out to well for him.

No I don't think he'd go either, but just a thought. If he transferred to D2 he could play immediately and probably get good minutes.

Like I said though, I doubt we get both so really won't be an issue.

One three pointer has never gotten someone so much goodwill from a fan base as McBrick.

The problem I see with the Haith/J3 situation is that Haith's penalties will be final long after J3 has enrolled and gotten to campus. He'll spend his first season at Mizzou, in which time the penalties will be levied against Haith, and Haith may get a show cause. J3 will then be free to transfer.

But I'd be skeptical of him getting out of his LOI before Haith is slapped with a show cause. This probably means that he'll transfer (and get an NCAA waiver) his sophomore year.

Who knows what rosters will look like in 2014?

The best hope for JW3 is that Haith is fired before April and JW3 gets out of his LOI, like Chris Jones Jr. and Kevin Ware.

Mizzou deserves whatever they get. They knew the baggage Haith had.

You're preaching to the choir on Haith.

But suppose the Letter of Allegations is sent this week. Schools have like 3 months to draft responses. Then hearings are held. Then the NCAA deliberates. Then the NCAA issues sanctions. Then the appeals process starts.

It could be 2014 before Haith's show cause is upheld on appeal.

I will miss him about as much as I miss Pearl Jr., Jordan Howell, Ryan Chilldress, and Dane Bradshaw.

I agree with everyone except Dane Bradshaw. I would love to see him here again. People forget what he did against Florida and also he played anywhere you put him. He may not score 20 a game but I think his defense and mental toughness is like none other we have seen since Dane left

Yeah he had a steal against FL and a put back against OK St. Other than that he was a hard working slow white boy playing the 4 at 6'3" and couldn't shoot a ball in the ocean. Kinda sounds familiar. Hell, Pearl Jr. played better D and also knew his offense limitation, so he didn't turn the ball over jacking up brick 3s all the time. Everybody was glad that he was replaced by Tyler Smith the next year.

Bradshaws carreer:

27% 3 pt percentage
57% ft shooter
3.45 reb/game
4.75 pts/game

Yeah, I was glad to see him graduate and replaced by T. Smith the next year.

Dane Bradshaw is a saint.

He might be a saint, but he was a terrible basketball player

You don't watch much BB do you? Some players are just glue guys and do all the little things and dirty work to make the team better. I asked Terry Tippett when Bradshaw committed what made him a college prospect and he said and I quote "The team he plays for wins".
