'13 TN DE Jason Carr (UT signee)

And in the 90s UT was getting players to jump on the bandwagon from states all around the southeast. You can't just expect a kid to commit to whatever school is in his home state. He has no obligation to us and if you believe otherwise you're being foolish. I'll repeat that this is this kid's biggest decision that he has had in his entire life and I'm not going to tell him not to come here just because he has interest in another school, which in case you haven't noticed is just about EVERY OTHER PROSPECT in major college recruiting.

Some people are butthurt because a kid is looking out for his best interest. Some of these "fans" don't understand that these kids are making the most important decision of their lives, and that comes 1st before rivalries between schools they haven't even enrolled at yet.

Carr will be a Vol... He's enjoying the attention, but the fact remains, he committed under a coach that was on his last legs. That indicates he was buying into something other than the guy recruiting him.

Apparantly he has stated he will not speak to any of the sites until Monday. So nothing on his visit. I have read a few say they hung out with him and had fun but none mention him talking up UA or anything like that.

Thanks for the update.

BONE: Jason Carr note (Monday update)

I just spoke with White Station head coach Devin Rutherford. He spent time with Jason Carr earlier today, four-star defensive end. Coach Rutherford told me he couldn't give out much info out of respect for Carr.

Carr does not want much media attention right now. Coach Rutherford did say, "Alabama is definitely in the thick of it."

"He told me he liked it a lot down there. He told me he had a real good time on the visit. He doesn't want to talk to the media though about it. He went down there by himself."

Coach Saban has already had his in-home visit with Carr. Coach Groh plans to visit a few more times before signing day. Coach Rutherford told me that while Carr remains committed to Tennessee he will make his final decision on signing day.

Don't let the door hit u on the way out buddy ... pitiful...

He has yet to decommit so you are currently sh!t talking a commit of ours. He's coming off of the post visit high of a place that can promise him a chance at a NC while he's there, that's appealing to any kid coming out of high school.

Also regardless of where he goes I don't understand the thought process of telling an eighteen year old kid to "not let the door hit him on the way out" over the internet. It's not very respectable.

He has not flipped yet. Geez. If bama hired cag, they are not improving their staff. Kid is thinking it thru. He did commit to prior staff and trying to get to know the new one. Jason,UT needs you. Don't go to the dark side of Saben who dooley wanted to be like but never will.

"Alabama is in the thick of it ... he will now decide on signing day "....... Naw talking sh!t about a former commit...

And yet still talking sh!t about an eighteen year old. Over the internet. For trying to decide what's best for him and his future.

You must be quiet the guy.
