'13 TN DE Jason Carr (UT signee)

Bama wont have any surprises on NSD. Their class will be finished prior.

I beg to respectfully differ! At last count, someone posted I believe four have flipped to other schools. Obviously Bammer is CURRENTLY in better shape because of the NC but they have their problems as well.

And 4 more will probably flip to Bama with equal or better playmaking ability. They will be alright.

The nature of the beast in recruiting. People want to be on the top recruiting the 5 stars but it comes at a price.

A Dodd(4*) flipped to LSU
A Burns(4*) flipped to Miami
R Foster(5*) flipped to AU
B Hill flipped to Ole Miss then back
J McNeil(4*) tried to flip to LSU back is headed to JUCO
D Walker(4*) flipped to FSU the day after we won the BCS
A Tenpenny may flip to Ark

On the otherside
D Henry flipped to UA from UGA
J Cook flipped to UA from Nebraska
D Liner likely from AU
E Vanderdoes, H Poggi, J Carr, A Golson are a few others that could flip to UA.

What do you expect with 17 & 18yo with inflated egos having adults telling them how great they are.

Ain't that the truth. Be nice when it happens here again.

While I am cautiously optimistic, I think CBJ is going to lead us back! Put it this way, this is the best I felt since the glory days of Fulmer. CBJ has a much better attitude than Kiffy (smart ass and cheater) and Dooley (who just seemed to alienate people). CBJ is high energy and seems to care about the players as well as embracing the tradition of Tennessee football. He has proven he can coach. Next question, can he coach at the SEC level? Right now all indicators lead me to believe he can! GBO!!!!

Is there a dislike button feature available. Never heard a kid after an OV say 'the visit was awful, & 'insert team' is no longer an option. CBJ still has an in home in the holster.

No one understands that though. I mean even if you have no intention of going to that school they are treated like kings for 48 hours. Some of these kids this is the highest moment in their life.

I never thought I would say this but THANK YOU bammer fan. Some really do have common sense, go figure!

The highest moment in my life wasn't even close to the bada*sness they get on OVs.

Really seals the deal with these fans.

Exactly, it's like when Jermaine Grace came for an OV a couple of weekends back. Everyone knows he's a long shot with the 90% Miami comment, but he had nothing but positive things to say about his visit here. Even with him more than likely announcing Miami tomorrow, he got to come to Knoxville for a 48 hour getaway and have a good time.

Not one person Hubbs, Bone, or even Mom in the Landry case knows where these kids heads are at right now.

From TOS,

John Talty about Jason Carr. Talty's the Mississippi recruiting writer for The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Miss. Told me he talked with someone today that thought Carr was still solid on Tennessee. Also said he's intrigued by Alabama, but ultimately thought he ends up in Knoxville.

Nothing earth shattering, just thought I'd pass it along.

That's great news Sanndune. Ive been really worried since its Bammer. Anybody else and Im totally confident he sticks lol

HONOR THY VOLS...CHERISH THEM...

I feel like, given the state of Bama's class and their limited room, the fact that he didn't commit already works in our favor.

Isn't there a fair chance they fill their class and don't have room for him?

Seems like they are still recruiting 10 or 12 guys and already have about 20 commits. Wouldn't put it past them to just sign 40 and the NCAA to turn a blind eye but if they make an effort to follow the rules we ought to be okay.

Jason is done with visits. He will not visit Ole Miss.

He's still committed to Tennessee. But he is also still listening to Alabama. Carr said he thinks coach Saban is coming by later in the week, but he wasn't sure.

Good news IMO.
