Agree. But more than likely have two JUCO dts already committed and both project well. Haven't followed OL recruiting outside of NJ kid.

He's aggressive and that's something we've lacked since Majors era. Hate the concept of playing 10 yards off and reacting rather than initiating contact at LOS. This whole offseason he had taught these DBs how to pop the WR at line and recovery. If you combine blitzing and tight coverage it provides for a lot more turnovers. One thing I hated about Wilcox was his refusal to mix it up because he played scared.

Both of these kids can ball hawk or lay the wood. That's why they fit this scheme so well. Both would compliment McNeil very well after Randolph leaves. Remember in this scheme both of the safety positions have to be able to hit and make plays on the ball. Also about Ansley, let's let him get in the Top 20 recruiters first before callimg him a top 5 guy. Hinshaw, Sunseri, and Jay Graham are hell on the recruiting trail too. I think a guy like Hinshaw will be top 10 before Ansley this year. I do like how recruits are talking about him though.

Reports coming from Hubbs and a guy I spoke to is that Ansley is running circles around everyone and the funny thing is the guys he is running circles around are very aggressive. The guy I spoke to recent at the caravan said Ansley is the most organized, calculated, and aggressive recruiter we have and guys love him. Just have to win this year, and I guarantee you Ansley will be a guy we will have to double his salary to keep him.

All this talk of Ansley reminds me that our coaching staff got some major upgrades this year. We had a quality staff before, but I think it's a really good to a potentially great staff now.

The funniest part to me about it is that all the negative articles I read about Dooley being on the hot seat and Tennessee football being in the crapper always begin with us losing seven coaches this offseason. They never look at who we replaced them with.

SIAP, Miles will announce tomorrow night during or after spring game! Final 4 is arkansas, penn state, stanford, and VOLS! Story is on rivals, I like what he said in the interview about us.

VB isn't rated higher on Rivals yet because they barely evaluated his film before their initial rankings came out. VB will likely jump up significantly in their updated rankings this summer.

"I'm going to announce tomorrow," Miles said on Sunday afternoon. "I was just ready to wrap everything up. I want to get it over with since I know where I want to go.

Miles says there is a lot to like about each of the four programs.

"With Arkansas I like that the coaches show me love and a lot of interest," he said. "They say I have t possibility to make a difference as a freshman there.

"Penn State, I like that their new coaching staff comes from the pros. That's my ultimate goal so I would like to be coached by a staff that knows what it takes to get there.

"I like the way Stanford plays their defense. I also love their academics. I can really benefit from that when I go there.

"I like the coaches at Tennessee. I especially like the DC (Sal Sunseri). I like the new defense they have and the way he used Mark Barron (at Alabama). They compare me to him in their defense and I really like that."

Someone else had the same concern on VQ when Perroni started a thread about his article and he had this response...

Don't read too much into that. I told him I was going to go through his four schools in alphabetical order and he would tell me what he liked about each one. He was basically pretending like he was giving me the reasons he was committing to each program.
