This kid could be our Cam Sutton. If one of these freshman middle linebackers come in and are studs like Bryant, Johnson or Mouhon could AJ play outside like he did when he was a freshman and that was probably his best year
You think a frosh comes in and pushes AJ out?
No.
First off read the post before you bash it. I never said he could beat AJ out for a spot. I said if he is good enough to play the mike linebacker spot then AJ could play outsidebacker instead of the mike. Which is what he played his freshman year and he was a stud. Never said he could beat him out entirely
The thing that excites me most about this class is that we could multiple Cam Suttons in it, in terms of their ability to instantly impact the play on the field at an All-Conference level.
To add, Bryant will probably start out at Sam.
Let's see. Fall enrollee freshman coming in and picking up all the calls and schemes for an SEC defense, all while moving our all-conference MLB, whose prominent weakness is his quickness and speed, outside to put him in more coverage situations.
I LOVE IT!
