Glad to hear the updates. This was the first one I wanted to check on and was very happy to hear there were no problems getting him in and that he did the work. Absolute heat seeking missile on the field. So impressed with his early recognition in addition to the way he squares up and lowers the boom. With what he said it tells me he is on the right path as a young man. Happy, happy, happy.

Exactly the mindset a recruit should have. Then there is Auburn stuck with primma Donna kids like Tre Williams, instead of focusing on what he needs to do to compete, saying Saban has little mans disease. WTH has Tre Williams done besides pass 11th grade?

We have almost an entire defensive squad showing up this fall that's capable of playing in this conference... eventually, some right away.

Defense will be better this year just by the fact that we have better talent and 2nd year guys like Vereen, Cam Sutton and JRM will be even better. We have senior leadership with AJ coming back, Curt Maggitt should be a beast. And with JUCO additions Owen Williams and hopefully Weatherd it should be fun to watch these guys go on the field.

if tre williams was playing for us there would be countless threads praising him. I think its a leap to call him a primma donna but rather a good step forward to call him young and immature.

Elliot Berry could play OLB, as well as Cortez McDowell. And Weatherd was recruited as a OLB because of his speed, so I don't see the issue in making an adjustment.

I think he will get a lot of snaps next year in the middle. I like the fact we can move guys around at linebacker.

This kid kills ppl. Hes a vicious downhill player. He's not forgotten. He's just a redshirt freshman. He needed to learn and he needed to transform his body. He will be fine.

Ideally, between Bates, Bynum, Bryant and Kirkland one of them wins the job outright and we move Jakob Johnson over to SDE. Hes going to get bigger this offseason and I think he could learn from Barnett and be a monster there. Perhaps do the sophomore redshirt.
