Not gonna get excited here until we get a visit. Scott is the one I'd really like to lock up in the next month or so.

Yes, Bo would make a great backup for the RB Hurd

I think Bo is a better RB, but who cares? It takes 2 great RBs to have a great offense in this league; unless your QB is one of your leading rushers. Plus they each have the ability to play WR, so Butch would have the option to put them both on the field at the same time

This. Doesn't matter who is #1 and who is #2. You have to have more than one serviceable runningback in the SEC and both of these guys would get plenty of playing time and are both more than serviceable SEC backs

Three reasons I want this guy:

1) He's good and we need a 3rd RB this class

2) To stick it to Bama. Helps us, hurts them.

3) He's 5 star talent. Anything that boosts our recruiting ranking helps in selling other recruits now and next year, plus gains us media attention.

I don't think he will go to Bama anyways. Seems to be a very soft commit.

4) just think how many times we could say Bo knows football.

Scarbrough will take his final two visits in January after the Under Armour game. He is contemplating three schools for his final trips.

"A lot of people want me to visit on January 17," Scarbrough said. "I have not decided where I will go yet. I do know the schools I am considering for my final visits are Alabama, Florida and Oklahoma. I am not really looking at anyone else. Those are the only other schools besides the ones I visited.

"Florida and Oklahoma are telling me pretty much the same as Ole Miss. They are looking for a back to come in and contribute. They want a big back like me. I just like those programs and their coaching staffs."

Thanks big harry. I didn't even realize anyone knew who I was. It's nice to be missed. lol.

Welcome back, VFL! You used to always bring it in the Hot Recruiting news thread. Glad your back posting again.

Looks like all of our eggs are in the Derrell Scott basket after this news of not getting a visit from Scarborough.

Scarbrough has been committed to Alabama, but his recruitment still appears to be fairly wide open with signing day a little more than six weeks away. He already has taken official visits to Ole Miss, Notre Dame and UCLA, and the Vols are among the teams battling to get one of his final two visits. If he doesn’t stick with the Crimson Tide — and many believe there’s a good chance he won’t — Ole Miss appears to be one of the teams to watch

Tennessee probably should be viewed as an outside contender for Scarbrough until further notice, but the Vols just might have a shot at him if they can get him on campus sometime before National Signing Day. It’s worth noting that he has visited Tennessee before, so he has some familiarity with the Vols. He also has some academic concerns that could end up being a factor in his recruitment down the stretch.
