'14 AL RB Bo Scarbrough

So since Saban isn't leaving does that mean he won't leave

I don't think that will affect his decision much. Scarborough seems to be the first top notch back to consider the depth chart before signing with Alabama. Sounds like he's a smart kid as he would be on the playing field day 1 at UT. With Hurd and with Paulk coming off injuries taking a couple more backs in this class would really help are running back depth next year.

Gais! Saban is going to be a Texan! You heard it here first.

He signed the contract to grab extra time to negotiate.

Are you jack wagons trying to push players away? I mean between stirring up anxiety on twitter over Lambert to now saying Scarborough is illiterate I'm starting to wonder. You guys suck.

On the positive side, if he's illiterate, we don't have to worry about him reading what's posted on mbs.

Thanks guys! Hopefully Bo will take Bama's depth chart into consideration. They would have several others in front of him like Henry, Tenpenny(sp.), and another one but the name escapes me at the present time. Not sure what year Yeldon is either.

In before Tidewarrior shows up and tells you how thin the RB position is on the Bama Depth Chart. Lol

I still needs to. Got a few related ones ahead of me on my plate in the book department but maybe I can finish it over break

It's worth its weight in paper. It kinda geared my whole interest in economics. I want to do something like it someday.

Could be wrong, but agreement to framework/terms isn't the same thing as a signed contract.

Sounded like a deal in principle, but not official yet.

Not sure if anything was actually signed or not

I hope you do man. One guy is the brains behind the book and the other is the writer. Dubner I believe, is the economist. He stated once that if I were going to cheat, how would I go about it? He then looks for the available data to find evidence of it. His genius on the sumo win threshold was legendary. He compares numbers from normal situations where nothing is at stake a lot, then compares them to when everything is on the line.. Like the Chicago teachers.

Exactly, both of them are economist actually. Leavitt( sp?) teaches econ at u of Chicago. He applies things on a universal scale extremely well. It's all about using your eyes to see things. I want to get a PhD in economics, and freakonomics really helped my interests.

I read mostly non fiction and Freakonomics is seriously one of the best, most eye opening books I've ever read. If it's inspired you it has inspired others. I'd expect an explosion of new economic discoveries over the next ten years that could be attributed to the impact of this book. It's an easy short read but is packed with info. Proud of you man.. Please keep us updated on any papers you write or studies you help out with. If you have any other reading you'd suggest that would be nice. I'm interested in the economic impact of the economics field sure, but it's also very interesting to see its social impact. It shines a light on society that you would never think of sometimes

You can say that again. Economics 101 is in a book by Adam Smith called the inquiry into the wealth of nations. I'd like to run a few studies to kick world hunger. Economics runs the world. Bo Scarbrough should do a lot of reading.

The book is interesting/entertaining as hell but there are a lot of flaws as well.
