hes talking about what colleges offered the kid. everyone seems to think Miclisse made up a bunch of his offers, and he is saying that 247 is probably more accurate with who actually offered

Regardless of rank, he isn't a hot commodity. Players that you just know ( examples: Hurd, TKJ, etc.) are big recruits are big recruits on every site. This kid has made way too many weightless claims. Honestly, if Miami is wanting him so bad then why no offer?

I do give him credit for getting his name out. I hope it works for the kid. I hope he is good enough for us but to me there is a reason why Miami didn't offer. Having said this, I really hope he gets a scholarship and gets to play at UT.

He has lied about taking visits, claims that he and Bates are pals when in fact that is not true, he hasn't visited UT yet from what I've read, and every college loves him but places like Miami won't offer yet. Sounds like crap to me. The dude loves UT but hasn't visited, sounds legit. I bet you were one of the guys who thought Bray would be drafted in 2nd round weren't you? Bless your heart.

So what I'm gathering is Mr. Miclisse has not been completely forthcoming about his actual offers and has pretty much been a self-promoter is all of this?

Whatever the outcome, Mr. Miclisse would be best served majoring in Marketing once he enrolls in college, this much is clear.

There are way too many that say the first part and keep quiet about the second part.

Santos was all Tennesse until texas offered
Kenny Bynum was all Cinncinati until Tennessee offered

Jenkins was all clemson until Tennessee offered :)

It happens. You take your best offer, unless what you consider to be a better one comes along.
It does not bother me much unless it happens right before NSD and coaches do not have time to secure similar talent.
I think the coaches try to weed those out as much as possible, but if the player is not talkative with the media or on social media, then I bet it is tough. Doubt this guy has a committable offer to Tennessee with all his marketing. Jmo

I've never seen so many posters adamant about establishing that a recruit is lying. If I had to bet, Miclisse is not lying about the various phone calls he's received from coaches, the coaches showing up at practice etc. but he probably is exaggerating the recruiting process a little cause he wants to be in the spotlight. He and his teammate Valentine have a lot of schools interested so it's not a stretch to believe more than just mid-major programs have extended offers, wether it's "commitable" or not, I'm sure many are legit. And just cause 247 doesn't confirm some of the offers doesn't mean a thing. It's pretty obvious that the Rivals guys are getting the interviews with him while 247 is not.
