You ever read about the "wind talkers" the Americans used during WW2? Basically combined a bunch of Native American languages and made it so complicated a member from any one tribe would not be able to understand it.

It was one Native American language. Navajo.

Serious concern I have... is that he gets too AMPed up during the flow of the game and starts shouting the assignments to the defensive front in his native German. Lol.

To the QB: "Ich werde deinen Kopf abreißen"

To the OL: "Du kannst mich nicht stoppen"

To the RB: "Ich muss Sie zerquetschen."

mamba...I cannot imagine how excited that you and the other coaches are about Jakob getting his first start this weekend. I hope that you all will be able to watch the game live.

To go with our theme of playing turn/third down for what, we should chant maad city by Kendrick Lamar for Jakob Johnson. Since his first name is pronounced Yok-ob, any time he makes a big play the student section should chant the line "every time I'm in the streets, I hear Yok Yok Yok Yok."

It might sound kind of lame if you aren't a college age kid or don't know who Kendrick Lamar is. But I think it'd sound pretty BA. And more original and new than all the "ooooooo" chants (i.e. kuuuuuhhhn, or cruuuuuuuuzzz).

I'm proud of him. He took the destiny in his own hands. He now gets a free education.

This is so awesome in so many ways. I am definitely pulling for JJ and for you guys as well. You coaches are who got him started and worked with him and encouraged him. JJ has definitely put in the work and now his dream of starting for a Div 1 team, Tennessee Vols nonethless, is coming true tomorrow!

GBO!!!

if you got a guy like jj.... you got to send him asap to the states...otherwise under our conditions we are working with it's a waste of time. also there is no competition for a kid like jj over here...just teach him basic football and try to give him a chance to join a professional environment...that is all we can or have to do. thats what i told jj....if a coach shows up and recognize your potential...you are at the right program. i'm so grateful that your lb-coach made the right decision
