To me, there is no doubt he goes the same route as Maggit and becomes a DE. May want a RS year to get big.

It was cloudy as you say, all I remember is something about Alvin and the Chipmunks showing up dressed in drag, Elton John popping out of this big cake wearing a Donald Duck hat, Coach Freeze saying he loves to watch Leave it to Beaver reruns...

Not sure what you are getting at here.
He is one of my favorite players.
I love him at linebacker but I think his speed and athleticism would be complimentary there as well.
I just want to see talent utilized

Let's not forget, this was the one freshman who AJ Johnson was raving about heading into either the beginning of the season or the beginning of fall camp. He definitely has the talent. Let's give him some time before calling him a failed experiment after his true freshman season.

JJ is a big guy. If he doesn't make it at MLB, we can always try him at SLB. We could move him back to DE as well. Let's just see what happens come spring.

It should also be noted that JJ has a restless work ethic. He's someone you want on your team.

Not sure as to if this is in reference to my statement, If it is I never said he has failed. To the contrary, his performance despite his limited time playing football is actually very impressive. I think he can/will be very good. There is just something about him when I watch him play that screams he reminds me of whitten. Meant to be a complement to him. I would genuinely like to see some snaps at te ALSO not instead of.
I think right now easier to go pro as a tight end right now as well,
They idea was just a way to get a potential playmaker the ball more.
Carry on....kinda sorry I expressed my opinion here

It's a classic VN tendency to try to switch player's positions. A switch to TE is a favorite choice. He meant nothing personal. :hi:

I actually think he has one of the coolest back stories in college football. I am excited to watch his development. This is butch and co's chance to truly sculpt a player.
I have always supported and loved my vols but finally we have a great deal to be excited about. Will be a fun ride!

Happy Easter Tennessee!

today i went out to the park...i took a seat....and watched two guys working out in the park...they looked like us soldiers....as they passed my bench they told me .....you waer a great cap ! where did you get that....i told this guys about jj....these tow guys listened to me .....and they start singing a song togehter...i just recognized a couple times the word tennessee....and they told me the both studied at UT....what a nice easter happening :)
