Sounds like Germany is cut from the same cloth as a Corey Vereen.... which has the makings of a special player, because i think Jakob may have more talent at his respective position.

Love to see this. Put in the work now young man, and you might find yourself around the beaches in Hawaii annually. Playing a little football while you're there :thumbsup:

One thing that really struck me while watching his NSD profile video was how truly grateful he was for the opportunity to play here. You can tell it was a dream come true for him. I'm actually pretty sure he uses those exact words, in fact. He wrote an email to every college DC in the country asking for the opportunity to be recruited. That's a hell of an initiative and one of the reasons why it doesn't surprise me at all that he's working hard on spring break while other people are out partying,

It's also another sign of the kind of player that Jones will recruit here, to me. Teams often take on the personalities of their coaches, and these relentless work ethic types (Vereen, Germany, Reeves-Maybin, Dobbs, even Maggitt though he isn't a Jones recruit) are perfect for a relentless coach like Jones.

I really enjoyed reading his story as well. The kid asked for a shot and was told to come to the US to prove himself. I am glad that he did. Jones is recruiting so great players and the kids seem to really love him and entire the coaching staff.
