#44 plays with a mean streak. Looks like he loves the contact. He should be really exciting to watch once he learns all the mental nuances and gets quicker.

My grandson and I were watching him in the 4th quarter and we noticed one play he went the wrong way (away from the ball movement) he seemed to be really upset with himself. Most plays he seemed to have good awareness. Moved very, very well.

we had to ease jj up most of the time....he always tried to play as hard as he can....most of the other junior guys in the league were afraid him.
so, cause of the injury risk, we stopped the "diesel" a couple of times.

First thing I noticed was that he was playing very aggressive and the misdirection was getting him. One more year of coaching and he should be fine. He definitely passed the eye test though, very big(looked bigger than AJ) and fast when going in the right direction.

Does anyone know where I can watch the second half? I missed it bc of work and really wanted to see the youngsters play

If you really want to learn German, go to BBC online. They have online courses for dozens of languages. It's free and better than Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone is a bit of a rip off. Their learning by pictures is a flawed and unproductive approach. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I will certainly look into this.

i think jj is fast but he can´t use his speed cause he is still insecure of his decisions, cause he got to improve his key-reading ability. he got to read his line-keys much better....to slow right now....not enough experience to understand how an OL works. this slows him down...

that is the bad thing here in germany....we are missing practise time with kids...

He's going to be an AJ clone. It's amazing how just being confident and understanding blocking has made AJ move like a missile this year. Even just last year he looked slow, but he's an animal this year. Really a testament that you need Seniors to win ball games. Especially on defense. It looks like AJ has mastered the college level. I'm excited about JJ getting a good grasp on these things, because he has a high ceiling.

Being a east TN born and raised Vol fan, this is one of the coolest threads on this site. So cool to see the worldwide reach of the power T.
