It's all relative... Seems to me like eating fried scorpions would be disgusting, but there are cultures that love it..
Everything's relative.
i´m sorry....my european irony was misunderstood. it was just an indication that (americans too) laugh about the british-eng. pronunciation. the question, more or less:
is the language or the pronunciation the topic to discuss ?
otherwise some americans would laugh about their own language....makes sense ? sorry for my ambiguity.
i´ll stopp writing german sentences if it causes pain to some users.
Try Thai. 5 tones. A word can completely change meaning based on your tone
We don't do that in the south. One tone... Laid back

Keep on keeping on, mamba. I for one enjoy what you bring to VolNation.
Btw, I'm in the process of learning German now. Thanks Rosetta Stone!
If you really want to learn German, go to BBC online. They have online courses for dozens of languages. It's free and better than Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone is a bit of a rip off. Their learning by pictures is a flawed and unproductive approach. Good luck.
